R&N - 06/15/09 - Evening News

The hottest album of the summer is already out (12am Eastern) June 16th!
Which album is that? "Lines, Vines, & Trying Times" from the Jonas Brothers. This is their 4th studio album as a group. I'm so proud of them. This album features hip hop artist, Common, on the track "Don't Charge me for the Crime." This is the most mature Jonas album to date. They have added a horn section, and have more string instruments. "Poison Ivy" sounds kind of silly at first, but when you get to the core of it, it's intense loathing. "Everybody gets the itch. Everybody hates that.."

Yeah, they went there. Makes me wonder who "that.." is. haha. But I'm not speculating here. Also, for some reason Miley Cyrus is on "Before the Storm." I probably shouldn't comment further, but if you don't like her, just don't listen to the track. :) Yup. that's my solution, anyways...

BUY the album! where ever CDs are sold or on iTunes! If you pre-ordered, you should already have it.. or it will be there tomorrow. I have mine. I LOVE it.

The Jonas Brothers World Tour kicks off in the states THIS Saturday June 20. Where else, but Nick J's hometown.. Dallas. In this case, Arlington, at the new Cowboys Stadium. Opening for them are Honor Society. I'm too proud of them for words. Also Jordin Sparks will be singing on the tour, too.

R&N - 01/31/09 - Baby-J's Finest Men in Hip Hop List

Wasup!! I'm the newest addition to the MF3 staff. Glad to be apart of the awesome team. To tell you a little about me, I'm a gemini, I like walks on the beach....naw j/k. Really...I'm a Chicago native who loves music, it's what I do. More about me to come later on in my profile :) Now to the good stuff. For my very first post, this is for the ladies. (Guys I got you next week.) I thought I would have a lil bit of fun and start out my blogs with my "Top Ten Finest Men in Hip Hop". Let me know what you think.

10. LIL WAYNE

OK, so right now this man is on top...just not on the top of my list. However, he did make it on :) When you get a first look at him you notice his hard thuggish exterior. You notice the ego that sometimes seems to show it's face every now and then, however, you can't help but to notice how cute he is under all that. He actually has a certain look of innocence that has stayed with him ever since he burst onto the hip hop scene. Mr. A Milli himself or should I say Sexy Mr. Carter...

9. Kanye West

Mr. Love Lockdown himself. I love his sex appeal, not only because we share the same hometown, but because he knows how to be himself, no matter how stuck up it seems. One things you can always be sure of, Kanye is always gonna do Kanye. No gimmicks, no made up gangsta facade, nothing, just Kanye. I also love how he lets his real life issues bleed through his music. He always give you a peak inside his heart, good or bad.

8. Nelly

He's not #1 on my list but he is still a hottie. No wonder he got Ashanti on lock! Nelly has the ability to bring the sexy thug look on the street and the rock hard six pack in the bedroom ladies. Have you seen him with a suit though? All I can say is wow. Being able to bring the sexy, make the ladies scream no matter what the occasion, AND being able to hum a few bars just enough to make you melt puts Nelly on my hot list.

7. Pharrell

Do I even have to type anything? Once you are finally able to tear yourself away from those adorable eyes....all you can say is....well what can you say? The man is fine! If he tries to sing to you, you just might have to pull those thongs off and fling 'em right in his direction! It seems like he was born with that sexy swagger... even when he is riding on that skateboard of his.

6. Jay-Z

Big lips or not, snagging one of the hottest chicks in the game prooves that he has serious sex appeal. Did I mention those big juicy lips? He was responsible for making all the wannabe thugsters ditch those tired throwback jerseys and become grown and sexy. If that's not reason enough to be one of the finest men in hip hop, I don't know what is. Jigga who? Yeah, you already know who needs an encore.

5. LL Cool J

This man has been in the hip hop game for 23 years and he is STILL mmm mmm good! How does he do it?? He doesn't look a day over thirty. People shout plastic surgery while he assures it's just good nutrition and exercise. He seems to take his shirt off in every movie and video to prove he is authentic and honey, that is alright with me! Momma said take you home with me!

4. Andre 3000

Now I admit, you may feel like this guy is a lil too high on my list...but I just can't get past that beautiful smile of his. Once you finally stop looking at his smile you can't ignore the way he can wear LITERALLY anything he wants and STILL seem to pull it off flawlessy. Did I mention he has a great sense of humor and shining personality. Why the heck did Erykah Badu let him go again??

3. Diddy

Rule #1: NEVER make a list of the finest men in hip hop and leave out Diddy...or he might fire you. Even if he's not your boss. Anyway, Diddy has found a way to make a name for himself...LITERALLY. Everything he touches seems to turn to gold and make him millions. He has built himself up to be known as the definition of sexy. Keep using that ProActive Solution!!

2. Common

I don't know what it is but this man makes me....maybe I should keep that to myself. It's got to be that voice of his. The way he speaks just seems to make your heart tingle, and don't get me started on how he looks. That's a blog entry all on it's own :) Another Chi-Town favorite on my wonderful list. Hey... Erykah let this one go too!! What is she thinking?

1. T.I.

This picture says it all. He can come to you rough and edgy or smooth and collected. You can have whatever you like. Either way, he's gonna look fine as hell when you see him. It seems like he got even more handsome as the years passed or maybe that was just us seeing a man coming into his own. Maturing into the sexy T.I. we see today.

MY TRUE #1. Tupac Shakur

Alright. I couldn't REALLY finish my list without letting you know my REAL number one even though he is no longer with us...or is he??? Whatever the case, this man will probably never leave the top of my list and I don't think I have to explain why. Ok maybe I'll explain a little bit. Those eyes. They can give you a look that will make you want to wish you were never born and they can also make your heart melt and want to go back in time and save him before that fatal day. Geez....the eyes always get me. R.I.P. Tupac.

03/19/08 - Hump Day EXCLUSIVES

Once again it's on, Dilly back for another Hump Day EXCLUSIVES. Got some audio and video pleasure for ya, so volume up and download your flash player if your lame ass still ain't got one.

Thank You Jay-Z & Mary J. Blige
Jay Z and Mary J. Blige are on tour together, so why not make another song together. That's exactly what they got here with "You're Welcome" produced by the monster Swizz Beats. Typical Jay, typical Mary J, but yo that means it's typical hotness. Don't know if its a main single meant to push any albums, someone correct me if this joint is on Mary J's album, but I do feel it'll get play regardless. And plus now they got more songs to duet with on stage. Enjoy.

Leona Lewis: The New British InvasionNow you know I gotta show love to my fellow Brits when I can, but this artist needs no bias when it comes to her work. The winner of Simon Cowell's X Factor show, a show similar to American Idol, but harder seein' as other factors such as dance, and appeal matter, Leona Lewis, took the UK and Europe by storm. Her cover of Kelly Clarkson's "Moment Like This" was the fastest selling and top single of 2006 in the UK, then her debut album Spirit, and first single beat her record and both became the fastest selling records of all time, and topped the charts in 2007. Now she headin' to the U.S. to come share the love. Backed by Simon Cowell, obviously, and Clive Davis, the legend, and a $10million investment, Leona Lewis is trying to repeat what she did out there. Her single, "Bleeding Love" was just released last week and has already cracked the Billboard 100, she is set to appear on Ameican Idol soon, and she just sang on Oprah this week, and u know how artist's stock always rises after the appear on Oprah. Right now this half black/half white beauty can do no wrong. What yall think? Peep the video and track here and let us know if you think she can make it...'cause I think she will.

Common Rekindles The Lights
Common has revamped his joint, The Light, from 2000 which featured in the video Erykah Badu(my boy AB posted it last week for his bday) for Smirnoff Vodka's Signature Series Mix Cd. Once again Common can do no wrong on this track, and Just Blaze once again murdered the beat. Common really is one of the heavyweights in Hip Hop, more people better recognize, and the dude doin' movies now. He was in Smokin' Aces and American Gangster, but watch out for him in the upcoming movie with Angelina Jolie, Wanted, and Street Kings with Forest Whitaker.

Hip Hop Saved Lupe's LifeNow I know I posted on this dude last week about his Superstar remix track, but this dude just keeps comin' with it. Lupe Fiasco has finally released the follow up single to Superstar off his album The Cool and it's titled "Hip Hop Saved My Life." The joint is hot, the video is hot, and it just reminds how good Lupe can be. He a breath of fresh air every time I hear one of his tracks. Peep the video and track here and enjoy.

Alright, I'm out. Make sure u crank your volume up for these joints here.

R&N- 12/07/07 - EXCLUSIVES

MF 3.0's tribute to Pimp C

The pimp is finally free! Hope yall been 'bumping your UGK tracks this week. Lil Flip has done a tribute song to him that I'm let yall hear. Oh and don't believe the rumors, nothing has been confirmed yet that Pimp C was found with prescription drugs, as of now his death was by natural concerns. UGK was also just nominated for two grammy awards on Thursday. Man. May he R.I.P.

Grammy Nominees...

Grammy nominated were announced yesterday and Kanye led the pack with EIGHT nominations. Kanye West's nominations dominate the rap field, with nominations for the Best Rap Album and double nominations in the Best Rap Song category - with both "Can't Tell Me Nothing" and "Good Life" vying for the award. Graduation is also in competition for Album of the Year. Other notable nominees were Jay Z, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake with 5, Akon with 4, Common and T.I. both with three, and Beyonce, 50, and Alicia Keys with two. The 50th Annual Grammy Awards will be handed out on February 10, 2008 at Los Angeles' Staples Center. For a full list of nominations visit grammy.com.

Jay-Z on his way out?

Jay-Z's 3-year contract is soon to expire and rumor has it Jay is demanding a steep pay increase. Sources close to the situation say that Jay-Z's demands are too high for what is reasonable in the industry today. They also say with him being in and out of retirement he is never in the office that long to demand such a pay. Another source also says L.A. Reid has no problem with Jay Z and that negotiations are very positive. Hmm, only time will tell.

Jaheim teams w/ Keisha Cole
Jaheim is showin' off his lungs with this track titled I've changed. Jahiem's new album "The Makings of a Man" drops December 18th.

Wyclef Jean is all about the C.R.E.A.M.

Wyclef who's album dropped this past Tuesday has remixed his "Sweetest Girl" joint and put Raekwon in the mix. The song is relatively the same but he flipped it and put it to Meth's - C.R.E.A.M beat. Peep the vid.

Enjoy the weekend people and VOTE. - Dilly

R&N - 11/29/07

Hey folks,

Got Part 2 News of Yesterday... Not posting it all now, but just a lil' bit. I'll have a larger post by the end of the day...

Usher & Tomeka - Named Baby the 5th!

Just to finish off the Usher topic for the time being, it has been announced that they've named the baby Usher Raymond V... Yes, Usher was number 4. That's gonna be interesting when the Usher V gets older. Think he'll be singing like his daddy?

Common - Dating Serena Williams?!

I'm not much of a gossiper on relationships, but Common hasn't gotten much press as of late... I hear the honeys are real fans of his, so I'm just gonna throw this out here... They might be dating... I've seen Jay-Z & Beyonce try to pull this same kind of look off coming out of a restaurant... They try to go their separate ways so that it looks different than what it is...

RZA addresses Raekwon's Issues

Like Dilly was talking about earlier about Wu-Tang and how Raekwon didn't like how the album was coming, here is what RZA had to say about that... I think everybody in Wu-Tang is crazy, but that's just me...

Young Buck - Dude Got Robbed?!

There was a WILD rumor out there that Young Buck from G-Unit got robbed... Rumor was that there was an argument, and Young Buck lost his watch, chain and somebody took his Bentley!... That's CRAZY...

This is what Buck said to AHH:

“Ain’t nobody robbed me for a thing... There was an altercation between me and a dude here in Tennessee and during that altercation, I lost a watch which came off my arm. But as far as someone taking my Bentley, my Bentley is sitting pretty without a scratch on it, right here in my driveway and my jewelry is right here too. I guess this is what people wanted to happen. I didn’t get robbed for anything.”

Buck also said that the dispute wasn't over money. “I don’t owe anyone money and the dude who I had the altercation with knows me and I know him and we already had our words since the altercation happened, so whoever is posting this or commenting on this recklessly is trying to take Buck down but you can’t take Buck down.”

I heard that a similar incident happened when he tried to sign a homie of his to G-Unit... homie got his chain snatched, and 50 said "fahgeddaboutit", lol. Guess that's not what happened with Buck.

R&N - 10/24/07 - Hot Videos + EXCLUSIVES!

A lot of hot videos have been poppin' lately, so I wanted to share it with y'all. First joint I wanted to put up was Common's "I Want You" joint. Luv this track on the album, but the video real nice. Common seem to get good treatment when it come to videos such was the case on this one w/ cameos from Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Selena Williams?? and others. Let us know what u think.

Common - I Want You

Ja Rule got a new joint to go w/ his street single, Uh Ohhh. Idk 'bout the song but the video, DAMN. Almost too many fine women in there, and Hype directed the joint so look like Ja still got sum clout. Also, peep out the "new" Ashanti on the track.

Ja Rule - Body

Ja Rule ft. Lil' Wayne - Uh Oh

Finally, the man who don't and probably won't go to jail, R. Kelly has got sum videos floatin' around. First he got that video to his Rockstar joint w/ Ludacris and Kid Rock...yeah I know, that's slowly creepin' on the radio. Then he actually made a video to "Real Talk." One of my favorite joints off of Double Up, Kels didn't dissapoint, the video funny just like the song, but idk if it's suppose to be. What yall think? By the way, both videos are kinda low quality...hmm maybe Kels is running out of money.

Making The Band 4 - Diddy's Official Group!

Diddy has FINALLY made his group. It now consists of Robert, Willie, Qwanell, Big Mike, and Brian A. Diddy gave Donnie a solo deal. This is gonna be interesting. Let's hope this group has better luck than the rest of his groups. None of his other groups have gone platinum yet...

I'm waiting for better and a new single from them. But you can check out "I Want You aka - Exclusive"!

Juelz Santana - New Clothing Line

Juelz Santana is starting his new clothing line called RoyElz... He will be collaborating with his mother and aunt on the project. Sounds like some family fun. Good luck with that, homie.

Afeni Shakur - Dear Momma

New Tupac type movie comin' soon... Dear Mama: The Life Story of Afeni Shakur. Word is, it's gonna detail Afeni's Shakur's drug addiction, the murder of her son, and her legal battles to obtain the rights to Pac's unreleased material. I wonder if this movie and the Biggie movie is gonna come out the same time... I wonder if Biggie and 'Pac gonna come out to see these movies. :-p

R&N - 08/11/07 - Late Night Edition

Wow... Hey folks, been on a "lil" break and look what happens?!

I actually been listening to Nivea's "Complicated" album (classic teen album, by the way) and my favorite song on it was "I Can't Mess With You" ft. The Dream... Tonight, i find out that Nivea and that dude have been married for 3 years! And the guy just got signed to Def Jam as an artist! Oh yea, did I mention he wrote "Umbrella"?! More on that later...

New Biggie Movie - They are looking for someone to play Biggie in a personal story of his life... which I hope will be dope. Tupac ain't the only great rapper. (Biggie and 'Pac were BOTH born in Brooklyn, by the way).

They are considering:

Sean Kingston(?)
Guerrilla Black(?)
the boy who played Big from "Sky's the Limit"(?)
Keenan Thompson(?), lol.

I'm kiddin' on most these, but not really... I'd say Forest Whitaker, but homie's kinda old...

Amy Winehouse is in "Rehab" (No, No, No). :-p... Oh, I'm sorry. She is in the hospital for "exhaustion"... (wink, wink).

50 Cent says if Kanye sells more records than him, he'll stop puttin' out solo albums... Who's up to help Kanye win that bet? :-p Need more encouragement? Go check out Future on his thoughts on "Ayo Technology" or whatever they want to call that song.

Also, Common came number 1 on the charts this week with his new album, Finding Forever!

I'll be back sometime tomorrow with more news.
