Looks like Beyonce is ready to move from purses to perfumes. Seems like this seems to be a new trend with Diddy also putting out frangrances "I Am King" & "Empress" as well as Usher putting out his self-titled fragrance. I expect it to be a big hit. Only time will tell.

Gucci Goes To Jail


Ya favorite southern rapper who's been tearing up the radio with the likes of Trey Songz, Omarion, Mario & Usher went to jail today for violating parole. Gucci Mane has been sentenced to a year in prison, but MAY be let out in six months if he gets good behavior.

Gucci was supposed to drop his new album, The State Vs. Radric Davis on December 8th. He leaked “Worst Enemy" which is a song off the new album that addresses T.I. and Young Jeezy. No word yet on whehter the album date will change.

Have you got the energy?



Here's a group you may or may not have heard of: This Is Energy. They're friends from St. Louis, Missouri, made up of Adam Gardner & Britton Campbell. Adam writes the lyrics, plays guitar, and sings. Britton drums and is usually the one online. It's pop/rock and sounds like a mix of Mayday Parade, Secondhand Serenade, and Saosin. Other bands they sound similar to are Third Eye Blind & Dashboard Confessional. This isn't really what I usually listen to, but I got referred by someone on myspace. So I decided to check them out and I'm happy I did. My current favorite This Is Energy song is "I Never." It's pretty sweet, especially the lyrics.

Their myspace is their main connection to the fans. Facebook has also been helpful. They just gave everyone who left their name in the blog.. a Christmas surprise! That was a personalized Christmas photo card. & yes, I got one, :) but I'm not one to reveal my last name.. sorry. Visit their photo album for that. haha. It's quite festive!

Well ladies and gentlemen, it's official. The Raymonds have just delivered their second child together, totaling five in all. And that's right...it's another boy. She delivered around 3AM Wednesday morning and seems to be doing just fine. Let the football team begin!!! Or maybe the Raymond 5? Keep u posted on more news...

Dude can blow but on this track he sound like he trying to emulate T-Pain, just like everybody else in the game right now, and his hair is crazy. I know the kid is mixed but damn bro, you trying to get on the scene. Peep the track and video here and you'll see what I mean. The video also cuts into my joint of the album, Maybach Music.

DJ Khaled's Ace Hood Got Cash FlowDJ Khaled who recently inked a distribution deal with Def Jam for his We The Best imprint is rolling out his first artist. Ace Gutta or Hood, apparently he goes by both names, is from Florida, which comes at no surprise. The guy is good in hands so far as for his first single he hooks up with T-Pain and Rick Ross. Them boys from Florida really do stick together as you can see in the video, EVERYBODY from out there makes a cameo. Even the ones who relocated (Fat Joe, Baby, Lil Wayne). Other cities/states need to take cue.

I will say that I'm feelin part 2 with Bey. But then again everything she touches is gold right? Oh wait...wasn't there someone else on this joint? Oh yeah...why was Weezy on this again? I'm just sayin?

You know...now that I think about it...this song overall isn't that hott.lol I know I just did a complete about face on this joint but you have 3 hit makers and a good beat....thats it. It just doesn't do it for me. B and Ush sound great, Weezy is Weezy, but it's too much in the lyrics for me and I just don't believe a word they sayin. I know I got real deep on this one but I'm a big time critic. Just sayin. It's almost redundant. I know there just better not be another remix. The one with T.I. was nice and the original was cool. Busta IS Back, and is pulling out all of the spots. Always one to be different, Busta is late on this one and hooks up with Linkin Park for the single, "We Made It." The single is suppose to be the lead single for his upcoming album, Blessed, that is if the street single, "Don't Touch Me," doesn't grow bigger than this. Usher Teams With Beyonce AND Lil Wayne

Three of the top artists in the industry who have each crafted their niche in the game have hooked up for Usher's Make Love In The Club part 2. The song is less of a remix and more of a new song and I guess was created in order to generate more steam before Usher releases his album, finally. The track is hot, Beyonce outshines all of 'em as usual, and Lil Wayne sound like he saving a little too much for his Carter III album either way the track is hot and just shows the star power that Usher got.

R.Kelly's Hairbraider VideoWe finally get to see the chick who did this to his hair! J/k, but really. Kels next album will be called TP: 4th Quarter and is dropping in the summer. Should be a hot, like most of Kelly's album, but it always do seem when he put that Twelve Play name to it, it just elevate the status. Guess we'll have to see, 'til then enjoy the video.

Raheem & R. Kelly Serve Up The Customers

The joint was already hot when Raheem dropped it as a single now R. Kelly done put his touch to it on the Customer (remix). When you first hear the track it was already reminiscent of a R. Kelly track so it only makes sense for him to jump on the remix. Raheem is really one of the promising R&B cats that knows how to make good music. It definitely won't hurt for him to collab with R. Kels just as long as they keep it strictly musically. No hair, fashion, or girl, I mean women tips. HA.

Pretty solid joint, but what do you think? P.S. Did yall hear that MC and Nick Cannon might be engaged? WTF? I didn't even know they were dating. Props to Nick Cannon, yall gotta stop hatin' on him 'cause obviously he's pulling em. From Christian Milian, to Victoria Secret model, to MC? That's a high ass batting average.

The Dream Needs Your LoveAlthough his album is banging, The Dream has been receiving TERRIBLE reviews for his segment on the Heart of the City Tour with Jay & Blige. City to city have been saying the Dream really ain't that good of singer, he can't move, etc. Despite all that, The Dream is pushing through and has just dropped his video for his third single, "I Love Your Girl" ft. label mate, Young Jeezy. This track is one of my favorites on the album, but definitely don't think it's gonna help ol boy push any more units. Maybe he's going for a European push. Either way, enjoy the video here.

Ying Yang Twins DropThe always animated duo of Ying Yang Twins are back doing what they do best with their new club song, "Drop." The song both similar and unlike any of their classic booty songs of the past is produced by Issac Hayes III, yeah the legendary Issac Hayes son, and uses a Beastie Boys sample. Man, I swear music is just comin full circle but anyway here's the kicker. After it's release just a little over a month ago on Myspace, as the Ying Yang Twins used the net before they offcialled decided on it to be a single or not, the song has been played over 30 million times! Very close to a Myspace record. Whether the song is hot or not, somebody likes it. Is this the year of the Ying Yang Twins? Their album, "2 Live Crew," a nod to the original Two Live Crew drops later this year.

NE-YO - PROTECT YOU

This is a hot track, it has a 70s Funk to it. I'm interested to see what Ne-Yo has in store for his new album since I wasn't really feelin his last one.

BUN B ft. Sugar Tounge Slim - THE SOUTH

Bun B comes hard on the track with his signature flow, and the beat is sick. The Jodeci sample is clean. However, I have a problem with Sugar claiming that he is the baddest pimp since Pimp C. Come on man... then you have the nerve to come through with a verse that sounds like the Pimp wrote it. That pi$$es me off just a little bit.

USHER - MOVIN MOUNTAINS

Usher is trying to make his comeback, but he has an up hill battle.....no pun intended, i'm serious. It's a good track, but guys like Trey Songs, Mario, and Ne-Yo have been killing the R&B game in Mr. Raymond's absence. I'm not counting Usher out, but he needs to put out something stronger than what I have heard so far.

THE COOL KIDS - FLOSSIN

The Cool Kids are a breath of fresh air for Hip-Hop. I'm just glad to hear that there are rappers out in the game that just do it to have fun and not as a side business to their main job in the drug game which most rappers want to portray. Don't get me wrong these "Kids" are very good on the mic. It has an old school feel to it, and will keep your head nodding.

JOHNTA AUSTIN - SAY SO
This guy knows how to craft a hit. He has done it for plenty of other singers and it sounds just a good when he does it himself. Definitely Check This Out!!

Usher Scores #1 Single In AmericaHe's baaaccckkkk. Usher has the new #1 single in America, unseating Flo-Rida's Low after 12weeks at the top. Usher posts the third-largest jump to No. 1 in Billboard Hot 100 history as "Love in This Club" featuring Young Jeezy, zooms 51-1. It also opens at No. 1 on Hot Digital Songs with 198,000 downloads, the largest first-week sum since Sean Kingston shifted 260,000 in the Aug. 11, 2007, issue. Usher's new album, "Here I Stand" drops in June and this is definately a HUGE boost. You heard it from me first when I said the boy needs to come extra hard with this new album for him to shake of all the bad press he got with the whole marriage fiasco and let me tell this is one big step in doing just that. Here go the single again, that we put yall on almost a month ago. MF 3.0 always come with the fresh joints first.

The movie will be based on the book, No Woman No Cry: My Life With Bob Marley, a book by Marley's widow, Rita Marley who will also serve as an executive producer. The book offers an intimate account of the Marleys' oft-tumultuous marriage and the Jamaican music star's rise from the streets of Kingston's Trenchtown to stirring it up as one of the 20th century's most acclaimed singer-songwriters before his untimely death from cancer at the age of 36. Also, Bob Marley's daughter-in-law Lauryn Hill is rumored to have a part in the movie and may play Rita Marley, herself.

MTV BANS Gnarls Barkley's New VideoMTV Networks recently announced that none of their outlets will play Gnarls Barkley new video for their single "Run." But it's not banned for the reason you thinking. In fact the reason why MTV, VHI, and other such networks won't play the video, not like they play many videos anyway, is because it failed the standard Harding Test -- guidelines established to prevent TV images from triggering epileptic seizures. It's visual effects are the cause of the failed test and won't be shown until the problem is fixed. Young Buck - Dude Got Robbed?!


There was a WILD rumor out there that Young Buck from G-Unit got robbed... Rumor was that there was an argument, and Young Buck lost his watch, chain and somebody took his Bentley!... That's CRAZY...

This is what Buck said to AHH:

“Ain’t nobody robbed me for a thing... There was an altercation between me and a dude here in Tennessee and during that altercation, I lost a watch which came off my arm. But as far as someone taking my Bentley, my Bentley is sitting pretty without a scratch on it, right here in my driveway and my jewelry is right here too. I guess this is what people wanted to happen. I didn’t get robbed for anything.”

Buck also said that the dispute wasn't over money. “I don’t owe anyone money and the dude who I had the altercation with knows me and I know him and we already had our words since the altercation happened, so whoever is posting this or commenting on this recklessly is trying to take Buck down but you can’t take Buck down.”

I heard that a similar incident happened when he tried to sign a homie of his to G-Unit... homie got his chain snatched, and 50 said "fahgeddaboutit", lol. Guess that's not what happened with Buck.
