Gucci Goes To Jail
Ya favorite southern rapper who's been tearing up the radio with the likes of Trey Songz, Omarion, Mario & Usher went to jail today for violating parole. Gucci Mane has been sentenced to a year in prison, but MAY be let out in six months if he gets good behavior.
Gucci was supposed to drop his new album, The State Vs. Radric Davis on December 8th. He leaked “Worst Enemy" which is a song off the new album that addresses T.I. and Young Jeezy. No word yet on whehter the album date will change.

Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 is coming out September 11th! Exactly 8 years from when he dropped the first Blueprint! And I have this crazy feeling it's gonna be hotter than Kingdom Come...
If this were a show, it'd have an all-star cast. It will include Kanye West (of course), Rihanna, Drake, Kid Cudi, Alicia Keys, Young Jeezy, Swizz Beatz & more... Kanye produced most of the album, so please believe production will be dope.
Rumor running around town is that Empire State of Mind was to include Nas, but for some reason, he was removed from the tracklisting and replaced by Alicia Keys... (Interesting...)

Terrence/Rocsi Beef: Part 3 (Final Chapter)
Hey folks,
Looks like Rocsi and Terrence finally made up. Mario guest hosted with Rocsi today and after the Forever video, appeared a huge vase of flowers and a letter on stage. Rocsi believed the flowers were from Mario, but he admitted that they were from Terrence.
Mario read the letter talking about how Terrence and Rocsi have been together for 2 years, and how sorry he was, also explaining he's on vacation right now... So I guess the beef is over... On with the show...
Anyway, they will be premiring the Put On video with Jeezy today. BOTH videos (Terrence Apology & Put On) should be put on soon...
Here's a lil teaser, though.

Young Jeezy Arrested!
Rappers sure know how to drive dirty (Thanks, Chamillionaire) and get caught... No seriously... How do you drive intoxicated, get 2 counts of DUI, speeding recklessly, no tags, AND no insurance??! Go ask Jeezy... He was able to get all those counts against him after comin' out the studio at 2:30AM yesterday...
He was later released after paying off $4100 worth of fines... I know Jeezy got some "bank", but I don't think that it's being spent on the right stuff. Take it from me... Tickets are a pain in the butt...
Lil' Wayne Scored A Milli Last Week!
After gettin some of the lousiest reviews in his career, ya boy Wayne STILL did RIDICULOUS numbers last week with his newest album, the Carter 3. How ridiculous? 1,005,045... That's bigger than 50's and Kanye's album war.
That just goes to show... If you got true fans, it don't matter what you put on the album... But I know it's gonna have a HUGE plummet come next week... But I think I'll let you guys comment on that... I'm usually harsh on those eccentric rappers such as 50 and Wayne, but I feel I give a fair opinion... Anybody else wanna comment, feel free to. I'm out.

03/12/08 - Hump Day EXCLUSIVES
Lil Wayne' Carter III's OFFICIAL 1st Single: Lollipop (VIDEO AND TRACK!)
The long awaited and delayed The Carter III finally has an OFFICIAL first single, the song is titled Lollipop and was to be released later this week but of 'course we got it before that. The video is also set to premiere tonight on BET's Access Granted, but of course we got it before that too. It's a rough cut of the video but whatever, we got it. The track features Lil Wayne one again experimenting with the Roger Zapp/T-Pain voice modulator thing, and at times can become annoying, but all in all the track is hott, but definitely not what I expected Wayne to drop first. The single also features the late, great Sean "Static" Garrett, of the R&B group Playa. I have been meaning to post on this, but Sean Garrett passed away two weeks ago what is said to be complications from a brain anuresym. Static was one of Devante from Jodeci and Timbaland's protege who got his start with the group Playa and their mild-hit "Cheer To You." He then went behind the scenes and became a monster penning numerous hits such as Ginuwine's "Pony" and "Aaliyah's "Are You That Somebody" and trust me many, many more. This is Static's last piece of work and the last video footage that can be seen of him. May his soul rest in peace.
Lupe Fiasco has decided to keep the heat goin' on his track Superstar and has enlisted two Atlanta heavyweights for remix duties. Young Jeezy and T.I. both spit verses on Lupe's track, and I have to say both artists both went a little hard. Still don't know how T.I. managed to get on this track but I guess with internet these days all he had to do was just send it out, huh. Anyway peep the track here.

He's baaaccckkkk. Usher has the new #1 single in America, unseating Flo-Rida's Low after 12weeks at the top. Usher posts the third-largest jump to No. 1 in Billboard Hot 100 history as "Love in This Club" featuring Young Jeezy, zooms 51-1. It also opens at No. 1 on Hot Digital Songs with 198,000 downloads, the largest first-week sum since Sean Kingston shifted 260,000 in the Aug. 11, 2007, issue. Usher's new album, "Here I Stand" drops in June and this is definately a HUGE boost. You heard it from me first when I said the boy needs to come extra hard with this new album for him to shake of all the bad press he got with the whole marriage fiasco and let me tell this is one big step in doing just that. Here go the single again, that we put yall on almost a month ago. MF 3.0 always come with the fresh joints first.

The Weinstein Company have just announced that they will begin production on the first ever bio-pic on the legendary Bob Marley. The movie will be based on the book, No Woman No Cry: My Life With Bob Marley, a book by Marley's widow, Rita Marley who will also serve as an executive producer. The book offers an intimate account of the Marleys' oft-tumultuous marriage and the Jamaican music star's rise from the streets of Kingston's Trenchtown to stirring it up as one of the 20th century's most acclaimed singer-songwriters before his untimely death from cancer at the age of 36. Also, Bob Marley's daughter-in-law Lauryn Hill is rumored to have a part in the movie and may play Rita Marley, herself.

MTV Networks recently announced that none of their outlets will play Gnarls Barkley new video for their single "Run." But it's not banned for the reason you thinking. In fact the reason why MTV, VHI, and other such networks won't play the video, not like they play many videos anyway, is because it failed the standard Harding Test -- guidelines established to prevent TV images from triggering epileptic seizures. It's visual effects are the cause of the failed test and won't be shown until the problem is fixed. Justin Timberlake makes a cameo in the video and MF 3.0 has it right here for you to get your "seizure" on. J/K
