R&N 02/05/09 - Beef Anyone???

Apparently the feud between 50 Cent and Rick Ross is far from over. They both called into New York's Hot 97 radio sation on monday (02/02/09) to let the public know why they are trippin'.

Rick Ross started first, speaking to Hot 97's Miss Info. "We not gonna let 'Curly' distract us from the fact 'Mafia Music' ended his career......The man has not charted a no. 1 record in Lord knows how long."

50 Cent called later that evening on Hot 97 with Funkmaster Flex and bragged about taking Rick Ross' baby mama, Tia Kemp, out shopping for Gucci and fur coats. She is also seen giving info on Ross' past job as a Correctional Officer and how his jewelry and cars are rented or leased.
50 Cent also stated he never even talked to Rick Ross before.

50 Cent- "They(Hot 97) asked him, like, how did it happen, like how did all this get started, and he told the girl, from the BET Awards, y'know he seen me, he wanted to say wasup, and I gave him this look, that was a little disappointing and from there, y'know, is where it came from."

Funkmaster Flex- "He felt it was time to go?"

50 Cent- "He felt like he was gonna to go in because I looked at him"

Funkmaster Flex- "I mean but do you even remember when it happened?

50 Cent- "I swear to God I don't even remember looking at him......nah, I don't know him, I ain't got no business with him, so there's no real reason for me to be talking to him"

50 Cent later stated he felt DJ Khaled had something to do with it.

50 Cent- "I know it was coming from Khaled. I'm sure, Flex, I'm sure he was supportive of it, because he went and talked to the DJs and he was playing it. I know because I talked to the DJs."

Considering 50 Cent has practically built his career off beef...my money is on him. Wonder what Rick Ross said to his baby mama when he saw that video...

stay tuned as the feud continues...

The Beef Continues.

Rick Ross - Mafia Music Vid

Now that was a very well made video, but I'm not convinced that Rick is really living like that...we know that 50 is. (400 million off of flavored water says enough!)

R&N - 02/02/09 - Mixtape Monday

Hey folks,

50 Cent / Rick Ross Beef
Just a lil... late... Anywayz, next week, we'll try keep you up on this new Rick Ross/50 Cent beef...

http://blog.flow.tv/assets/2008/5/27/RickRoss-.jpghttp://www.celebbinge.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/50-cent.jpg

Started off with
"Try Me"

Then Rick Ross came back with
"Mafia Music"

NOW, I'm hearing that 50 is using Rick Ross's baby mama... Just dirrrty... But hey, that's just 50 for ya... Here are excerpts from AHH:

Rick's Baby-mama: "It's sort of embarrassing, as you listen to his raps, you would definitely believe him," Kemp states. "His jewelry is rented, the cars are being leased…It's just sad. I just want to prove the facts."

"I've been driving it for 2 years. I was very surprised he would take it," Kemp stated. "Right now I have to get someone to pick me and the kids."

Later, 50 proclaims his intentions to show Kemp a great time, stating slyly "we gonna do some shopping, have a good time and then…y'all can't see all of that!"

After further insulting Ross by showing a personal picture of his mother and referring to her as the Nutty Professor, the viral video shows Tia Kemp being taken around to various shopping boutiques to pick up shoes and furs on 50's tab. Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely" is utilized as the soundtrack.

R&N - 07/23/08 - Evening News

Now for Evening News...

Nas Number 1 This Week!

A real rapper finally makes it rain on Lil' Wayne's parade. Take that line however you want, heheh. N-A-S pushed 187, 078 units this week, knockin' Lil' Wayne out of the number 1 slot for hip-hop albums this week. Congrats to Mr. Jones.

Rick Ross, Former C.O.

Ya boy, Rick Ross has been exposed... He used to be a former cop in Miami... I thought it was a photoshop, but it looked TOO legit...

Department of Corrections records have been released showing Ross worked as a prison guard for 18 months beginning in December 1995. He graduated from the Departmetnt of Corrections training academy where he was assigned to the South Florida Reception Center in Dade County. He left in June 1997.

Now they got the record out and everything? Are y'all gonna stop buyin' his music now? What's really good? His music is still pretty hot... I hope Def Jam doesn't drop him...

Mr. F-A-B-O Got A B-A-B-Y!

Ya boy, Fabolous has a new baby boy to take care of...

I smell a new album comin' out tryin' to take care of him... I hope he at least thinks of marrying the momma. But I doubt that was his plan at all... We'll see...

05/21/08 - Hump Day EXCLUSIVES

Dilly here again, got some tracks for you to peep, and videos for you to watch. Speak your mind, tell us if they poppin' or not.

VIDEO WORLD PREMIERE: Usher - Here I StandWithout further ado, his long awaited video to his 2nd single. Don't get me wrong I like the track, but they been talking about this video like it suppose to be the ISH. What yall think?
Usher - Moving Mountains (Video)

Rick Ross 's New Video With Nelly & Avery StormRick Ross keeps it moving with his mid-tempo love joint off his album Trilla. He links up with Nelly on this track, as well as Nellys R&B protege, Avery Storm. He was also featured on Diddy's Biggie Duets track, Nasty Girl. Dude can blow but on this track he sound like he trying to emulate T-Pain, just like everybody else in the game right now, and his hair is crazy. I know the kid is mixed but damn bro, you trying to get on the scene. Peep the track and video here and you'll see what I mean. The video also cuts into my joint of the album, Maybach Music.

DJ Khaled's Ace Hood Got Cash FlowDJ Khaled who recently inked a distribution deal with Def Jam for his We The Best imprint is rolling out his first artist. Ace Gutta or Hood, apparently he goes by both names, is from Florida, which comes at no surprise. The guy is good in hands so far as for his first single he hooks up with T-Pain and Rick Ross. Them boys from Florida really do stick together as you can see in the video, EVERYBODY from out there makes a cameo. Even the ones who relocated (Fat Joe, Baby, Lil Wayne). Other cities/states need to take cue.

American Boy, Busta Rhymes, Heats Up Remix For Estelle

Refusing to be forgotten about British import, Estelle has linked up with another American Boy, Busta, to garner more spins for her American Boy track. Busta is quality on this one and is prepping his new LP which will be out shortly. Listen to it here.

03/26/08 - Hump Day EXCLUSIVES

The Game Got Big Dreams
The Game's street single to his 3rd, and FINAL album, LAX, has been leaked, and MF 3.0 has got it. Now yall know I don't like The Game, and I think he's talking out of his @$$ when he say he's retiring after this album, because he's done dropped 3 "classic" albums, and has nothing left to say, but this track Big Dreams, produced by Cool & Dre, is pretty solid. The Game knows what he can do basically, and he doin' it. Peep it here, and let us know what you think.

Mariah Carey's Annual Hip-Hop Remix w/ Def Jam Relevants

Mariah Carey, now I love this woman, but her Touch My Body single, written by The Dream, I really wasn't feeling. Especially after the last time she came out her first single was We Belong Together, and those two just don't compare. Well as MC always does with at least one of her single's from her albums, she hooks up with who's poppin' in the Hip-Hop world and puts down a remix which most of the time is better than the original. Well they did it again, this time it is better and she didn't have to look to far for relevancy seein' as Def Jam is having a hell of time with their artists right now. Yeah Ricky Ross debuted at #1 last week, sucka...although I do believe Def Jam had a hand in that. Anyway, MC is stickin' to her formula in order to remain top diva, and so far it's working, but let me tell ya, MC does have Janet beat out, but Whitney Houston done got rid of Bobby so she ain't playing when she come back around, watch.

Outkast and The Chef Cookin' Up So More Heat

Yet another hot track from the ATLiens, this time with a Wu-Tang alumni. Just peep the track. Hip Hop is still alive like I said before.

Joe Budden Stages His ComebackJoe Budden, a man who use to be one of my favorite rappers, is finally set to return to mainsteam after a 5 year hiatus. Joe Budden has been working the mixtape circuits for years now, and has developed quite a strong, loyal following. However that loyal following, is just really small. Well Joe Budden has just recently release his first single of his new album, Padded Room, which is set to drop in June. When asked to explain his first single Joe says that, "The song is very Jersey, very dance, but not 2 be confused with anything gimmicky, or bubblegum. Quite the opposite, no matter what type of record I do, we will not dumb down lyrically. 'T & G' is the beginning of my gradual progression back 2 the mainstream world. It's 1 bullet from the clip, but not by any means the strongest." I don't know about yall...but if I was a artist, and I'm trying to move some units and/or become relevant again, I'm hitting yall with the hardest thing I got. Anyway, peep the track and see if Joe B is makin' the right moves or not.
Joe Budden - Touch & Go

Well alright yall, I'm out, hope yall could handle all that. Two more days 'til the weekend.

R&N - 01/31/08 - Hip-Hop Exclusives

Go DJ! Nah, that's not MY DJ.After being late for an appearance in Richmond, VA, Friday (Jan. 25) due to his legal woes, Lil Wayne once arriving on stage made his frustrations clear by ripping into members of his entourage. Weezy, documented on video, goes on to rant and rave about how some members of his "entourage" weren't there for him, and how he don't need them 'cause he got the crowd. He then prompts the whole audience to follow him in giving his crew a big "F**k You." The video just adds to the recent madness, entertaining, but madness that is Lil Wayne and is highlighted with Wayne throwing his jacket directly at the head of his DJ. See for yourself here.

Kanye West: Glow In The Dark Tour?

I've been waitin' for an announcement for a tour for a minute now, but although no announcement still hasn't been made, there is a flyer going around that may be part of the promo for Ye's new tour. The poster bills Kanye as the headliner with Rihanna, N.E.R.D., and Lupe Fiasco has supporting acts...when and if this happens, you can definitely count me in. I don't buy cds, but I buy show tickets :)

50 Says, "You Ain't Crazy"
The man who's been relatively quiet for a man of his stature is trying to make some noise with this track U Ain't Crazy and I don't think this is the one to do it. 50 is doing what 50 on this track and I think it would have been a good joint a few years back but now it's kinda like...man I'm waitin' for you to rap about something else. See for yourself here.

More Honey from Badu

The most eccentric chic in R&B is here with her video to Honey. Remember yall peeped the track here first as Music Forecast well here go the video and let me tell ya, this is one of the most creative joints I've seen in a looonnngg time. How many album covers can you name in that video...watch it first to answer.

Clipse presents...The Re-UP Gang
Clipse is bringin out their boys Ab-Live and Sandman collectively known as The Re-Up Gang this year. Their group album is suppose to drop this year hopefully, 'til then bump this banger here.

Pharrel's a N.E.R.D again
My homey Pharrell is back with his partners in crime Chad Hugo and Shay Moss for their experimental group's N.E.R.D's newest single for the third album. The track is classic N.E.R.D. Peep it here. Also, I got this video with the same single "Everyone Nose" as the background for an exclusive look at Pharrell's new jewelry line, called Blason, with Louis Vuitton. ::Shakes Head: Dude got too much money.

Rick Ross ain't the only one speedin'Rick Ross is back at trying to create some much needed buzz for his forthcoming album, Trilla. He has called in the boys and record a remix to his track "Speedin." Peep it here and tell us what you think.

R&N - 1/18/08 - Exclusives

Nate Dogg Suffers Stroke

According to an official report from memebers inside of Nate Dogg's camp, the singer suffered a mild stroke last month in his home. He was treated at Panoma Valley Hospital from December 19th to the 26th. The singer was left paralyzed on the left side of his body. He is now recovering at an undisclosed rehab facility. The good news is that Nate Dogg has not suffered any brain damage, and his singing voice is unaffected. Let's all send out our prayers to a true legend in the game.

No More Money In The Bank For Banks And Mobb Deep

Apparently, 50 Cent could be cleaning house over at G-Unit. While this is just a rumor, it isn't too far fetched considering the dismal numbers both acts have to show on their last studio efforts. I can understand the Imfamous Mobb since I really can't remember anything they have done since Shook Ones and that came out in '95. Oh and the Quiet Storm. Ok maybe that's a bit harsh, but on the other side of this, I thought that 50 and Banks were really good friends. I didn't see this coming. Sometimes it's just business.
