Despite heavy rumors, it has FINALLY been confirmed... Alicia Keys is PREGNANT!
A rep for Keys confirms that Alicia Keys and producer Swizz Beatz are expecting a baby and are engaged to be married later this year. confirmed friend said, "They are very happy." It's the first child for the singer; Swizz Beatz is also father to sons Kaseem Jr. and Prince, both from prior relationships. (BTW, are Mashonda and Swizz officially divorced yet??!)
It has been said that Swizz Beatz is with the man who has inspired so much of Alicia Key's music and her album, The Element of Freedom. Seems Swizz has been quoted to New York Daily News last year "What we have is so precious."
Keys recently admitted that "I absolutely am very interested in starting a family. It is one of the most beautiful experiences to have in this life and I am looking forward to it when it is my time."
We'll keep you posted on this story as it develops, give or take 9 months... Wow...

Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 is coming out September 11th! Exactly 8 years from when he dropped the first Blueprint! And I have this crazy feeling it's gonna be hotter than Kingdom Come...
If this were a show, it'd have an all-star cast. It will include Kanye West (of course), Rihanna, Drake, Kid Cudi, Alicia Keys, Young Jeezy, Swizz Beatz & more... Kanye produced most of the album, so please believe production will be dope.
Rumor running around town is that Empire State of Mind was to include Nas, but for some reason, he was removed from the tracklisting and replaced by Alicia Keys... (Interesting...)

Alicia Keys Is Caught In A Teenage Love AffairMy baby boo, Alica Keys, keeps things rolling and has just released the video for her third single, "Teenage Love Affair." The video is a homage to Spike Lee's classic movie, School Daze, which is centered around college life at a HBCU and starts Tisha-Campbell Martin. A Keys keeps her creative juices flowing in this video and MF 3.0 has the world premiered right now.
Nas releases first single of album, Ni**erNow you know I already talked about Nas and his new album, Ni**er, but after hearin' his track I think my stance may have slightly changed. Nas, as he said previously, that the album title is driven artistically and not as a ploy to create attention in order to sale records. With this track, "Be A Ni**er Too," I understand, in a way, what he trying to do with this album. Listen to it here. And whether you like it or not, this is Hip-Hop, excuse me, Music, excuse me, the right to express oneself, in its rawest form.
Busta Rhymes Throws Water On Em Busta Ryhmes, one of the hardest working, most animated, and entertaining man in the music industry is trying to create some buzz for his next album with his single, "Don't Touch Me (Throw Da Water On Em)." Busta, as we all know, has been going through a tough time for the past two years, and I am glad that he is finally getting back to making music. Recent reports have stated that Busta Rhymes has cleaned house, cutting dies with Flipmode Squad, and his right-hand man, Spliff Starr, and Busta is in a whole new mindset right now. All I know is, this track is classic Busta and that is exactly what I like. Listen.
Bobby Valentino Leaves Disturbing The PeaceBobby V, DTP's first R&B signing has departed ways with Ludacris's Disturbing The Peace imprint and has gone the independent route. According to Billboard.com, plans to release a six-track EP followed by a full-length studio album, called his time at DTP a "great stepping stone and learning experience. I look at this as my going off to college. It was time for me to step out on my own and show the world who Bobby Valentino, the artist really is." Yeah, I think it's a wrap for this child. Oh well, at least he blessed us with this track right here.
Jay-Z & Mary Hit Us With "You're Welcome" VideoJay-Z and Mary J. Blige, two of showbiz's hardest working people have dropped a video for their tour promo single, "You're Welcome." The video is shot documentary style and pieces together footage from their tour so far. Enjoy. I'm also gonna show yall their appearance on The Letterman Show last week, Jay talk a little bit on the stuff Kels use to do when they were touring together.
Lupe Fiasco Travels To Paris and Tokyo In New VideoLupe Fiasco, just dropped his new video for his single Paris, Tokyo. One of my fav. joints on his album The Cool. Glow In The Dark tour kicks off tonight, I believe in Detroit, and I know this tour is just gonna be one for the books. I'm headin' out go see it May 1st, if yall ain't got your tickets, then u missin' out let me tell ya.
R. Kelly's New HairNow I was just gonna post on R. Kelly's new joint, Hairbraider, then when I found out what his hairbraider actually did to his hair, I had to show yall. Now I don't know bout you, but the man has got to be going to jail soon if he doin' crazy stuff like that. The song jam, and it's classic Kels, that we've been accustomed to lately, not vintage Kels of Bump N Grind, Seems Like You Ready. Either way the song's tight, that is you're not tired of Kels doin' the same ol thing...which I guess is what he was trying to avoid with his hair looking like that. Anyway, here go the track.
Chilli Still Loves Usher? Watch out now, according to blogstress Necole Bitchie, when she caught up with Chilli out in Atlanta she had this to say about the one who use to have it bad for her:
Now you know Tameka jumping up and down somewhere just waiting to run into Chilli somewhere in Atlanta. That would be a sight to see. Although my girl wouldn't even have a chance with Blanka. In the interview, Chilli also says another one that got away was Marlon Wayans! Yeah I kno right, apparently they dated back when they were 20, but she felt like he was too good, and wanted a "bad" guy. It look like Chilli just need a guy period.
Alicia Keys Under Fire After Conspiracy CommentsMy wifey has been catching some flack for recent comments that she made in an interview with Blender magazine. The magazine quoted her as saying, and I'm just paraphrasing, that she believed Gangsta Rap was made up by the government as a ploy in order to get black folks to kill each other, and the government and media made it bigger than what it was. Now I agree with her on that, with how the media blew the whole East Coast vs. West Coast out of proportion when it was goin' down, but the government stuff? Don't know about that ma. And that's exactly what she went on Ryan Seacrest:On Air to clean up what she said. A keys tells the listeners, she was misquoted and mistaken, and clarify her comments, which when you hear it makes a lot more sense. These media people just try taking everybody down don't they. Listen to Alica Key's rebuttal here.
Freekey Zeekey Escapes From Near Fatal Car CrashNew has just surfaced on Dispet representative, Freekey Zekey's near fatal car crash which occured last night, April 15th. Story is, Zekey was sitting in his 2007 White S550 Benz at a stop light when he was struck from the rear causing both Zeke and the passenger to be ejected through the windshield and on a Hummer that was parked in front of them. Both were rushed to the hospital but were later released with minor injuries. Freekey Zekey had just left the studio where he was working on his sophomore set due out this fall on Asylum Records. MF 3.0 glad he's ok, and tellin' everybody to buckle up.

You Gotta Hear This Didn't somebody say Hip Hop is dead? Didn't I hear the south only knows how to make dance moves? Well Outkast have shot down all that nonsense with this new track, The Art of Storytelling pt. 4 ft. Marsha Ambrosius (formerly of Floetry). This track is going to be on DJ Drama's Gangsta Grillz: The Album.
DJ Drama's Turn Not to be outdone by DJ Khaled current's reign, DJ Drama is gearin' up to release his fully loaded mixtape album and just keeps blessin' us with hot tracks. We already gave yall 5000 ones and showed yall the video on that, but look at what he got now...
Tabi Bonney: Breath of fresh air This cat is real. Yall might have heard the name from the track he had buzzing earlier in the year, "The Pocket." Well apparently he has been killing in D.C. and other ares in the East Coast and is following up his last album, A Fly Guy's Theme, with another effort. His style is real different, I can't really explain it, I'll just let yall hear it n watch the video, n you'll let me know.
Birdman: I'm gonna make you hear me I'm really not tryna hear a Birdman album but it's lookin' like that's what we're gonna have before we get blessed with The Carter III, but anyway Birdman got a new track, 100 Million Dollars...and u know what it's pretty similar to Pop Bottles, and 5000 ones, but it's playable. Why? Oh because it's got like 5 other cameos on there. I tell you man Birdman got friends.
Smitty doubles up Diamonds on my neck? Yall remember that joint? I use to love that track, well yeah that's him, and this is his new joint. It's called Tell Me, ft. Mario AND Chris Brown. Why you need to R&B artists on your joint? I don't know, but the song is a lil bit of a banger, nice mid-tempo joint. But definately not enough to get an album released. What yall think?
Yes, it's damn near official. Jermaine Jackson has released sayin' the fam is getting back together and will be touring in 2008. He says they owe it to the fans. Oh and this tour WILL be with Michael. Man, I don't know 'bout yall, but this is good news. Even if you don't like Michael Jackson, you know you luved Lil Mike. I really do see this tour working, especially if they let Michael and Janet have their solo sets, man, they'll sell out everywhere. What yall think?
For those Alicia Keys fans out there, I got her video for you guys to check out...
Alicia Keys - Like You'll Never See Me Again
I know y'all been waiting for this one...
DJ Khaled ft. EVERYBODY - I'm So Hood Remix
Also... The News Update so far... Donda West Update Part 2 - Passed Due To Complications of Surgery "The mother of Kanye West may have died of complications related to a surgical procedure, a coroner's official said Monday.
Preliminary information from officials at Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center, where Donda West died Saturday, indicated she died from "complications of surgery," Lt. Fred Corral told The Associated Press. An autopsy was to be conducted by Wednesday, Corral said.
Patricia Green, a consultant who has worked as a publicist for West in the past, had previously told news agencies that West died after cosmetic surgery. She backed away from those comments in later interviews with the AP, saying she was not sure of the cause because she had received conflicting information." - Source
Yezzur, here goes my first official post. Comment, compliment, trash it, that's what blogs are for.
This is the remix...
With all the hot joints out right now, there's a whole lot of 'em w/ remixes. You may have heard some of these spinning radio already, some of 'em you won't that's why MF 3.0 brings it to ya.
You remember 30 is the new 20 joint on Jay Z's Kingdome Come album? Well this is Benjamin Andre rippin' it while enlightening everybody who listens to it.
It's suppose to be on DJ Drama's upcoming cd Gangsta Grills: The Album b4 The Mixtape, but
Greg Street went n stole the joint n put w/ Jay Z old verse n a Ice Cube new 16.
Weezy finally spits on the track that he should have to begin with. Birdman follows him to studio again n f**ks up again, u can't help but wish that Baby could have been swapped w/ Luda, the killer of hot tracks right now. Yeah I said it. (See, I Get Money, and Freaky Girl remix)
Weird choice to have on the remix, but then I remembered Cassidy was on J Records thru Full Surface, so hence the link to my wifey there. Cass go hard, n the slight beat change is hot.
Yall know Flashing Lights is one of the best beats on Graduation, these cats gracing the track makes it even better.
Yuuuup, so while T.I. was trying to liquidate his 24s for bail money, and Diddy was still slapping people around at clubs, I was busy compiling my TOP 5 JOINTS of the week...
