R. Kelly's New Hair Now I was just gonna post on R. Kelly's new joint, Hairbraider, then when I found out what his hairbraider actually did to his hair, I had to show yall. Now I don't know bout you, but the man has got to be going to jail soon if he doin' crazy stuff like that. The song jam, and it's classic Kels, that we've been accustomed to lately, not vintage Kels of Bump N Grind, Seems Like You Ready. Either way the song's tight, that is you're not tired of Kels doin' the same ol thing...which I guess is what he was trying to avoid with his hair looking like that. Anyway, here go the track.

Watch out now, according to blogstress Necole Bitchie, when she caught up with Chilli out in Atlanta she had this to say about the one who use to have it bad for her:

"Usher is the one that I truly did love," she said. "Like that was truly my first adult love. I love him very much and I will always love him. I don't know how you love someone that deeply and just stop loving them. I'm not in love with him anymore but I can't say that I don't love him anymore. And of course I do want him to be happy and all but me and him had what I never had in any of my other relationships, and that was chemistry."

Now you know Tameka jumping up and down somewhere just waiting to run into Chilli somewhere in Atlanta. That would be a sight to see. Although my girl wouldn't even have a chance with Blanka. In the interview, Chilli also says another one that got away was Marlon Wayans! Yeah I kno right, apparently they dated back when they were 20, but she felt like he was too good, and wanted a "bad" guy. It look like Chilli just need a guy period.


Alicia Keys Under Fire After Conspiracy CommentsMy wifey has been catching some flack for recent comments that she made in an interview with Blender magazine. The magazine quoted her as saying, and I'm just paraphrasing, that she believed Gangsta Rap was made up by the government as a ploy in order to get black folks to kill each other, and the government and media made it bigger than what it was. Now I agree with her on that, with how the media blew the whole East Coast vs. West Coast out of proportion when it was goin' down, but the government stuff? Don't know about that ma. And that's exactly what she went on Ryan Seacrest:On Air to clean up what she said. A keys tells the listeners, she was misquoted and mistaken, and clarify her comments, which when you hear it makes a lot more sense. These media people just try taking everybody down don't they. Freekey Zeekey Escapes From Near Fatal Car Crash New has just surfaced on Dispet representative, Freekey Zekey's near fatal car crash which occured last night, April 15th. Story is, Zekey was sitting in his 2007 White S550 Benz at a stop light when he was struck from the rear causing both Zeke and the passenger to be ejected through the windshield and on a Hummer that was parked in front of them. Both were rushed to the hospital but were later released with minor injuries. Freekey Zekey had just left the studio where he was working on his sophomore set due out this fall on Asylum Records. MF 3.0 glad he's ok, and tellin' everybody to buckle up.

Tonight is just one of those crazy nights... This is the scoop for the day...

Remy Ma - Found Guilty!


Remy Ma will probably be sitting in jail tonight. Remy left a Manhattan courtroom in tears today in handcuffs. She was convicted of shooting one of her former friends in front of a nightclub last summer. It seems that after she admitted to shooting the gun off "by accident", the jury made their decision...

She now faces up to 25 years behind bars. If she receives the maximum sentence, homegirl will be about 50 when she is released from prison. The sentencing is to take place April 23rd and is currently jailed without bail.

TI - Pleaded Guilty!

I couldn't believe it until I saw the video.... TI has plead GUILTY to his gun charges and plans to do 1000 community service hours before going to jail for a year. Don't believe, check the vid...

Lil' Wayne & Nivea - Guilty of Hanging out Again

So... Nivea is single(?) now that she's divorced The Dream... The reason I say it like that is because I've not heard any follow-up news since. But yea, they were out on the town in Atlanta last night... She needs some press right now anyways...

Her cover of Kelly Clarkson's "Moment Like This" was the fastest selling and top single of 2006 in the UK, then her debut album Spirit, and first single beat her record and both became the fastest selling records of all time, and topped the charts in 2007. Now she headin' to the U.S. to come share the love. Backed by Simon Cowell, obviously, and Clive Davis, the legend, and a $10million investment, Leona Lewis is trying to repeat what she did out there. Her single, "Bleeding Love" was just released last week and has already cracked the Billboard 100, she is set to appear on Ameican Idol soon, and she just sang on Oprah this week, and u know how artist's stock always rises after the appear on Oprah. Common Rekindles The LightsCommon has revamped his joint, The Light, from 2000 which featured in the video Erykah Badu(my boy AB posted it last week for his bday) for Smirnoff Vodka's Signature Series Mix Cd. Once again Common can do no wrong on this track, and Just Blaze once again murdered the beat. Common really is one of the heavyweights in Hip Hop, more people better recognize, and the dude doin' movies now. He was in Smokin' Aces and American Gangster, but watch out for him in the upcoming movie with Angelina Jolie, Wanted, and Street Kings with Forest Whitaker.

Pimp C Death: Too Much Lean

I'm not gonna speak on this too much but it has been announced and ruled that Pimp C died of an accidental overdose. Apparently, Mr. Butler and taken some cough medication and with an ongoing breathing problem the combination proved to be deadly. To be honest, I am not surprised as this is what I expected in the beginning. But man, it's a shame. The much-hyped "LEAN" took out a legend.

Jay Z & Mary J. Blige Tour

Never to be outdone by his little brother, Kanye West, who just recently announced his "Glow In The Dark" Tour with N.E.R.D., Lupe Fiasco, and Rihanna. Jigga Man has announced that he is joining forces with Queen of R&B, Mary J. Blige. Details are still vague, but I'm sure when it comes 'round, this is going to be a hot ticket. Now I luv Jay-Z, but damn Jay just can't let nobody shine on their own, can he.

The Game Headin' To JailNow case you didn't know, I don't like The Game, I think he's lame and fake and should have given 50 his due credit instead of frontin' like he single-handedly made all his first joints. Anyways, The Game was last year was charged with making criminal threats, possessing a firearm in a school zone, and exhibiting a firearm in the presence of an officer after allegedly getting into a fight during a pick-up game of basketball. Previously pleading Not Gulilty after facing 5 years in jail, The Game agreed to a plea bargain and will now spend 4 MONTHS in jail. Now if you remember when I posted about Busta, who had so many charges that will have put him away for close to 10 years but walked, you would think The Game would try and do the same, but Nah, not dumba** Game. Game would rather plead guilty in court, even though he's "innocent" explaining,

"The crazy part about this is that I've had guns before in my life," he explained. "But this time, I didn't have a gun. And because one person said I had a gun and coaxed his homies into saying that I had a gun, I'm in a predicament where I'm asking, Do I want to spend another million dollars to fight this trial so who knows what jury's gonna come in and say I'm guilty? Or do I want to save my money, go sit down for four months and accept this felony they're trying to give me for no reason?"

Sounds like to me he just trying to go to jail to build up his "cred" and come out drop a new album and try and sell millions of records. Somebody tell him the game don't work like that no more. Thank god. Man, I can't wait for this cat to retire.

Ryan Leslie Is Ready
The man who discovered Cassie and made Diddy look good for .5 and who created a deafening buzz on Myspace and his blog, nextselection.com before blogs and myspace really took off is ready for his solo time. Ryan Leslie has been trying to get into the game on his own for awhile, after graduating from Harvard, yes Havard at 16, yes 16, no lie and shocking everybody and their mama when he said he was moving to NYC to pursure singing. He made his way in the game making beats, crafting joints for Beyonce, New Edition, 112, Cheri Dennis and other Bad Boy artists and then grew a following in Europe that love RL like he Chris Brown. Well not quite but they do like his joints. Peep my fav. song of his "Overdose" below.

Long story short, the U.S. are finally given him a chance and is set to drop his album in June and has the industry buzzing with his track "Diamond Girl." The lead single is unexpected burning up radio waves and remixes have been poppin' up left and right. Listen to the track here, and remember where u heard it at.

People loving it so much now they gonna record it. One of the people who caught wind of this was Swizz Beatz who told Wayne he got a beat that he need to build this song on. The track was for Jay-Z's Kingdome Come album has flatlines, and heartbeat sounds throughout the beat and was intended to have that "Save The Game" vibe Jay Z was going with back then. Well now it's going to the other Carter and MF3.0 we'll have it soon as it's out, 'til then here go the freestyle.

Now apparently the lead single for his upcoming album was suppose to be "Make It Rain" with T-Pain but after two, three months being out w/out any steam being picked up the Usher camp has released another joint that is the new lead single. The song features Young Jeezy and is called, wait for it..."Make Love In The Club." Lol, yeah I know but the song is hot, still can't figure out what's missing though. Peep both tracks there.

Janelle Monae: New R&B?

Janelle Monae is all kind of crazy but her sound is infectious. Starting out with making tracks on Purple Ribbon All Stars Got Purp vol. 2 and making a cameo on Idlewild Sdtk. Janelle made enough noise to get signed by Diddy on Bad Boy and is getting play with her track Violet Stars Happy Hunting. This girl is fly but ever since she got signed she done flipped her style and did sumtin' crazy to her hair as you can see in the pictures. Anyway, her music is still something to listen to. Ok well now peeps are sayin' Diddy is in LOVE and Cassie is the one he wanna settle down with not Kim. Man I tell ya that boy is a mess, but he still my n***a though.

Usher's bro, J Lac signs publishing deal with EMI

Usher's bro is stepping out on his own and just signed an exclusive worldwide publishing deal with EMI Music Publishing. James Lack, or JLack as he goes by has been making beats ever since his big bro got major and finally cracked the scene with Lloyd's club hit "Get It Shawty". Yeah, I ain't know he that beat either, well that joint and presumeably others were good enough for him to sign a deal and now he should be own his way. He just got work on his intro, his "This is a J Lac track, man" is not what that is. Go back n peep that Lloyd beat ya dig.

Lupe Fiasco is this close to dropping his sophmore album, and let me tell ya I can't wait. Lupe is a breath of fresh air and if you ain't heard his joint Superstar yet then your a clown. Nah, not really but go peep that joint and the video Lupe making good music right now. We got the title track to his album "The Cool" and this joint is even more quality music. Snoop premired his "Fatherhood" show this past Sunday on E! and although I ain't catch it, I heard it's pretty funny. Similar to Run's House, wish is off the chian by the way, but a lil more, I dunno pimped out? Either way I just wanna see how his kids be actin' w/ a daddy like that so you know I'm tuning in.
