Check out Rihanna's new vid. Guest appearance by Justin Timberlake. A hot lil' single off the album, Girl Gone Bad. I actually remember when I bought this album... It was actually during a rather rainy season, and of course the 1st track was Umbrella. If you want to party, let it all go or just be real with yourself, pick up this album. I see Rihanna having some real longevity in this industry. And this album is proof.

Justin Timberlake - Take Away ur Luv

Ok, after you hear this joint, you will be like, "...is it me, or is this a long lost sample from Stevie Wonder?" Not saying that it is....but I AM just sayin.lol Sounds like Justin is tired of being Mr. Pop.

Not that he can help it. I just don't see "them" letting him go...IF you know what I mean. He could do an entire Stevie Wonder album and the world would still consider him pop. I mean I would be mad Jay. I'm just sayin. I like the joint 3 1/2 outta 5 stars. Its cool but not a Wooohoooo track in my opinion. Definitely a Valentine's jam though.

I don't care what nobody say. He still has a ways to go with me after the whole Superbowl incident....Oh you thought I forgot?????lol Janet served her time and he should serve his.....but nice track Jay Tim......nice track.lol

UPDATE: Did I honestly say that I was done?... my bad....

TI - Arrested in ATL!


T.I. was in "Body Tap" last night, a strip club in ATL, and a fight broke out between his crew and some other crew. He was taken into custody, PLUS his house was raided. Because of this, you won't be seeing him in the BET Hip-Hop Awards tonight. Homie was lined up for 9 awards tonight. He's gonna win at least 3 of them. More news as it develops...

Ironically, I just turned it on BET and see TI & Nelly on Hip-Hop vs. America... "West Side Detroit, yo! I'm a PIMP." :-p

The BET Hip-Hop Awards will be aired Thursday, October 17th.

Another UPDATE: I hope I'm wrong, but it is rumored they arrested him because his bodyguard tried to buy him "machine guns". That doesn't sound right, at all! But that's what is rumored to be the reason they raided his house...

Out of NOWHERE! Jay-Z announces that he is doing another album!!! Not only that, but it will be called "American Gangster"! The set date right now is November 6th! Jay claims that the album is his lyrical interpretation of the new movie coming out.

The movie will star TI, Denzel Washington, Cuba Gooding Jr., Common and others.. Something to DEFINITELY check out...

Papoose - Dropped From Jive!


For those of you have been waiting on Papoose to drop his album, Nacirema (America backwards) Dream, you're gonna have to wait a little bit longer...

Pap & Kay Slay have just announced that he was released from Jive Records. He was originally signed to Jive for 1.5 Million dollars. After about a year, no album has surfaced, as of yet. Now he's having to look for a new label. This is what Kay-Slay had to say on Hot 97 in New York:

"We have officially gotten our release from Jive f*ckin records. It was like a f*ckin year of hell... Unfortunately, we almost became victims of A&R hell.

"You cannot put a 60-something-year-old white man on a 20-something-year-old black kid's project from Brooklyn, and think it's gonna pop. And like I said this aint a bashing. It's a reality. But by the grace of everybody's... understanding, we are free. Free at last, free at last. Thank God Almighty, free at last. We are very happy, we're popping champagne. We got our release from Jive Records, and we're just moving on"

Hopefully, he can put out that album ASAP. Have a good weekend.

50 Cent - Amusement Park Fiasco

If you folks wanted to know the reason why 50 didn't spit the 1st verse of Amusement Park at The BET Awards last week, he gave an explanation @ 106 & Park.

The rapper showed up at "106" on Wednesday after the award show to explain what happened. "Everything doesn't quite happen the way you practice it," 50 said. "I was kinda hit by the aerialist and I was weebly wobbly coming down. 25 feet in the air man, you fall no one can help you with that. Then by the time you get down you try to regroup, you got the pyro going off, the music started, we're four bars into the song , I just didn't - I wasn't concentrating."

Wayne Brady Divorce

Wayne Brady is divorcing with his wife, Mandie Taketa Brady. Mandie filed for divorce this week. The couple have a 4 year-old daughter Maile.

TI - Goin' Gold

T.I.'s fifth album, T.I. vs. T.I.P. is reportedly on pace to being the highest selling rap album of the year.

The album is projected to sell over 500,000 copies by next week and will grab the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200. The album features guest appearances from Jay-Z, Eminem, Wyclef Jean and Busta Rhymes.

How he got to put together his album... a wish list...

"I created a wish list of whoever I wanted to work with," explained T.I. "Jason Geter (T.I.'s Manager) and company, they went out, they made it known that this is who I wanted to work with and they were kind enough to respond with cooperation."

Uncle Luke's World


Uncle Luke is puttin' out his own reality show called "Luke's World".

"Viewers will see Campbell interact with his fiancé, who reminds the mogul/activist that his life revolves around more than running his National Youth Football League and his 16-year-old daughter, who is dealing with the pressure of being "Luke’s little girl."

Throughout Luke's World, viewers will witness Campbell playing golf at the 18-hole "East" golf course at the Country Club of Miami as well as wearing various hats, from auditioning girls for his next DVD to attending parent-teacher conferences for his son to having heart-to-heart talks with his daughter.

The show will also feature Campbell trying to steer his 13-year-old son away from the influence of his public persona."
