New music. it's awesome. duh.

Hey there! 1st post from me (RiaB. / Hermione). I don't know how much of an intro I need, but I'll just say, I'm kinda slightly taking after my brother. lol.
I may or may not be posting here regularly, but I have been finding out about cool musicians.
Here's some new music you may not have heard.

The gentlemen of Honor Society can really rock. Who are they? Michael Bruno, Andrew Lee, Jason Rosen, and Alex Noyes (former Jonas Brothers’ back-up drummer).

As they say, "We do not play shows... We throw parties!"

Genre: well, on their myspace it says

HONOR SOCIETY Rock / Pop / Hip Hop

So that’s what I’m going with. It's a cross between Prince and Fall Out Boy. The singles on their MySpace … AMAZING. Buy the LP. It’s totally awesome. & I think "See You In the Dark" is pretty addictive.

Also, they do this skit called "The Gentlemen's Club." It's highly entertaining.. and gentlemanly. (right now there are 7 episodes. Here's the first to start you off.)

Their new merchandise site is up and running now (as of Friday). They’ve played around New York and New Jersey. They held their EP release party/concert @ the Knitting Factory. I heard it was amazing! (I’m not in the area to go.)

BTW, they held a pre-Camp Rock party on JTV (Justin.tv). It was highly entertaining. They’re funny… answered some questions, played a song by request, danced, & some other stuff you would just have to tune in to find out about. Haha.

Young Jeezy Arrested!


Rappers sure know how to drive dirty (Thanks, Chamillionaire) and get caught... No seriously... How do you drive intoxicated, get 2 counts of DUI, speeding recklessly, no tags, AND no insurance??! Go ask Jeezy... He was able to get all those counts against him after comin' out the studio at 2:30AM yesterday...

He was later released after paying off $4100 worth of fines... I know Jeezy got some "bank", but I don't think that it's being spent on the right stuff. Take it from me... Tickets are a pain in the butt...

Lil' Wayne Scored A Milli Last Week!

After gettin some of the lousiest reviews in his career, ya boy Wayne STILL did RIDICULOUS numbers last week with his newest album, the Carter 3. How ridiculous? 1,005,045... That's bigger than 50's and Kanye's album war.

That just goes to show... If you got true fans, it don't matter what you put on the album... But I know it's gonna have a HUGE plummet come next week... But I think I'll let you guys comment on that... I'm usually harsh on those eccentric rappers such as 50 and Wayne, but I feel I give a fair opinion... Anybody else wanna comment, feel free to. I'm out.

50 cent and Ciara, MARRIAGE RUMORS?

Rumors circulated that the two were romantically involved after they got close and personal in Ciara's video, Can't Leave em Alone.

50 was spotted wearing a wedding band, however, his publicist says the ring is for his role in an upcoming film. I dunno, after Jay-Z and Beyonce managed to keep their relationship squared away from the media, I would say anything is possible. But 50 is overseas right now, so it's hard to say.

Young Buck tears up with 50 cent..?

Looks like another round in the G-Unit / Young Buck saga. Sources say 50 cent leaked a phone call between him and Buck, in which he sobbed and pleaded with 50 to be back in G-Unit.

Buck began apologizing for the drama between the two and even started talking about his financial problems. Man... hard times in that camp. Hopefully things get straightened out.

Hey folks,

On a random note, go and make HISTORY today....

Download Firefox 3 within the next... 17hours and have the fastest and safest browser known to man... for now, lol.

It's good stuff... If you haven't heard, they are trying to make it into the history books for most downloaded browser. Try it out. It's lovely.

Linkin Park or Velvet Revolver



Front man of LP Chester Bennington(above) denies rumors of being asked to front for Velvet Revolver, and taking the place of Scott Weiland. Bennington is friends with all members of the band, I just can't see this happening. Hey Rumors are beyond crazy sometimes, but some are these Rock'n Rollers too!



The New Coldplay is Brilliant But.....

Problems with Viva la Vida



These guys are having a few problems with production and tour dates. At this point no one is really sure what is going on, but they will be starting their North American tour two weeks late, mid July. Upset fans can get their money back, or just hold on to the same ticket which can be used at one hell of a Coldplay show! Hey rumors aside, the new album Viva la Vida is brilliant, and has already done records on the charts.

Hey folks,

BTNH Reunites!

For those of y'all who don't know, Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony will be having a reunion. (Hopefully, longer than Dru Hill's, lol.) Bizzy, Layzie, Krayzie, Wish-Bone and Flesh-N-Bone will be rejoining next month. They plan to put out a new album and Swizz Beatz will be executive producing the album... There is some label drama and paperwork they gotta do before they move on with the venture, but hopefully they will have an album out Late '08 or early 2009.

Flashback Friday maybe dedicated to the BTNH reforming *hint hint*.
