If you have not heard, Dru Hill recently reformed and are now expected to go on tour.....okay I just got the word in that Dru Hill has broken up again. Are you serious? What happen to "Can't we all just get along" long enough to at least get out of the radio station. If you haven't seen the video, AB posted it earlier this morning. It's shorter than the time you would take on your coffee break, so there is no excuse for not watching it. But honestly, Dru Hill was one of the best R&B groups of the late 90's and early 2000's, and it's a shame that things had to go down like this.
Let's look back at how everything started.
DRU HILL - IN MY BED
WE'RE NOT MAKING LOVE NO MORE
DRU HILL - YOU ARE EVERYTHING REMIX
HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE (this song still goes hard!!)
Alot of good music from a great group. Maybe we can expect a another reuinion in the future and hopefully it will last longer. Next week, we have the Lone Star Flashbacks, classic joints from the great state of Texas.
Wow... This isn't exactly Flashback, but this is Actually new footage of Dru Hill... This is horrible, lol. The group had gone on 92Q. reformed and BROKE UP on the radio... Woody decides to speak on air... about how he wants to go solo and do what God told him... I'm all up for that, but um... that's something you talk to with your bandmates BEFORE puttin' it out on the radio like that...!
That's all I got for you now... Perhaps, DPT will post some Dru Hill vids for ya later on... LOL... I'm still tryin' to get ova this one... WOW!!!
Usher Scores #1 Single In AmericaHe's baaaccckkkk. Usher has the new #1 single in America, unseating Flo-Rida's Low after 12weeks at the top. Usher posts the third-largest jump to No. 1 in Billboard Hot 100 history as "Love in This Club" featuring Young Jeezy, zooms 51-1. It also opens at No. 1 on Hot Digital Songs with 198,000 downloads, the largest first-week sum since Sean Kingston shifted 260,000 in the Aug. 11, 2007, issue. Usher's new album, "Here I Stand" drops in June and this is definately a HUGE boost. You heard it from me first when I said the boy needs to come extra hard with this new album for him to shake of all the bad press he got with the whole marriage fiasco and let me tell this is one big step in doing just that. Here go the single again, that we put yall on almost a month ago. MF 3.0 always come with the fresh joints first.
New Bob Marley Flick On The WayThe Weinstein Company have just announced that they will begin production on the first ever bio-pic on the legendary Bob Marley. The movie will be based on the book, No Woman No Cry: My Life With Bob Marley, a book by Marley's widow, Rita Marley who will also serve as an executive producer. The book offers an intimate account of the Marleys' oft-tumultuous marriage and the Jamaican music star's rise from the streets of Kingston's Trenchtown to stirring it up as one of the 20th century's most acclaimed singer-songwriters before his untimely death from cancer at the age of 36. Also, Bob Marley's daughter-in-law Lauryn Hill is rumored to have a part in the movie and may play Rita Marley, herself.
MTV BANS Gnarls Barkley's New VideoMTV Networks recently announced that none of their outlets will play Gnarls Barkley new video for their single "Run." But it's not banned for the reason you thinking. In fact the reason why MTV, VHI, and other such networks won't play the video, not like they play many videos anyway, is because it failed the standard Harding Test -- guidelines established to prevent TV images from triggering epileptic seizures. It's visual effects are the cause of the failed test and won't be shown until the problem is fixed. Justin Timberlake makes a cameo in the video and MF 3.0 has it right here for you to get your "seizure" on. J/K
Alright, this has been your evening news. Holla. ~Dilly.

Juvenile's Daughter Killed, Funeral Service Planning
17-year-old, Anthony Terrell, Jr. was arrested for shooting Jelani, Juvenile's daughter as well as her mother, Joy and Micaiah Deleston. Their bodies were found Feb 28th and Anthony confessed soon after.
A preliminary hearing for Terrell is set for next week in Gwinnett County Superior Court, prosecutor Danny Porter said. Because of Terrell's age, prosecutors cannot seek the death penalty. Terrell faces a maximum of life in prison for each of the three charges.
The funeral for Joy Deleston and her two daughters is set to take place this week in South Carolina. Our hearts go out to Juvenile and his family. Diddy's Gets Shine for "A Raisin In The Sun
Yea.... I didn't believe it either, but from what I've heard from the reviews, Diddy didn't do that bad. From forgetting his lines the first night on Broadway, Diddy has shown much improvement. Don't believe me, check the reviews...
USA Today: "...the movie would not have been made without Combs and would not work as well without him." Chicago Sun Times: "Combs' baby face is a fine counterpoint to his character's rage and bitterness...the actor's blend of volatility, sweetness, pride, impotence and frustration registers beautifully."
New York Post: "Combs does a great, great job--especially for someone who isn't known as an actor."
Wall Street Journal: "Mr. Combs, who portrays that husband, delivers a sterling performance."
Congrats to Diddy. Now let's see him go platinum with Day 26 & the new Danity Kane album...

J. Lo's Twins Finally Born
So J. Lo's finally had her twins, Max and Emme. She gave birth to them early Friday about 2 weeks ago (Yea, I'm late.) in Long Island. They kept the hospital location on hush, though. Don't know why... that hospital would get promo all day... The 5-pound, 7-ounce girl arrived first, followed by her 6-pound brother, Max minutes later.
That's all for tonight, but stay tuned for more "Evening News" next week.
Dilly here for another edition of HUMP DAY EXCLUSIVES. Yes, we are almost to the weekend, but right now we're already here to the Hot Ish.
Dipset Is OVER!And we all saw it coming. 40 Cal and Jay Bezel done released a track titled "Dipset Is Ova" stating just that, and venting on the frustration with Jim Jones and Camron's beefing. In a recent interview they both said that their failure to not speak or come to terms with eachother has resulted in the whole Dipset failure. They said nobody's making money but Cam and Jones, and it ain't right. The true star of the group in my opinion, Juelz Santana also weighed in and put it like this. "When I came in the game, at 18, and was being treated in a certain way, it was cool, I had no money, I was new, and Cam was the one that got me out. Now, after some success, after some weight being gained, and I'm still being treated the same way? That just don't work." I understand what the man saying, they need to give Juelz his shine, and quit tripping. Either way, Juelz the only one signed to a major labor, as his new album is post to drop with Def Jam this year and his ex-comrade Jim Jones has rumors flying about him being dropped from Warner Bros without even releasing any material. Ouch. Hopefully all ends up well with the members, who knows, but I do know this, at the end of the track there's a SKULL GANG shoutout, so it look Julez's Skull Gang just got some new members.
R. Kelly Disses Ne-Yo On New TrackNow yall knew R. Kelly was hood right? No? Well I'm tellin' u he is. The boy don't play, just with little girls. No, I'm playin' but he really Kels talk greasy like the next man at that's exactly what he doin' on this track "I'm A Beast." Some highlights of Kel's "rap": Never been a snitch boy/ Never been a b*tch boy/ Why I gotta hate on you?/ Look at me I'm rich boy/ You need a steering wheel, the way you ridin my dick boy/ Say you're a go-getter/ Go get your own sh*t boy..." Now although he don't say who exactly he talkin' bout, it ain't hard to tell. Peep it here.
Aiight, so here's the run down. Apparently, last Friday Fat Joe, Papoose, Yo Gotti, Gucci Mane, and Cassidy was doing a show for a radio station out in North Carolina. Before the show, while at the hotel, Joey Crack wanted to find Papoose and question him 'bout sum disparaging remarks made towards him while on air back in NY with 50 Cent. Fat Joe roamed the hotel 'til he found Papoose in Cassidy's room and asked dude, "Do we got a problem?" Papoose, MANing up says, "If you want a problem, we can handle that." Apparently that's not the answer Joe was looking for an so the scuffle ensued. Now both parties have different accounts of how it went down, with Papoose coming out first sayin' Fat Joe was 8 men deep, and Papoose was only with 3 cats and wanted to fight one on one but Fat Joe refused. He then says that during the fight he got his hits in, and quote "put work on his chin." He also said on the radio station that he handled his business. Two days later Joey Crack responds with a video, after fake pics were floating around with him with a bruised face, sayin' Papoose is lying and that it was 4 on 4, and that his DJ went to the hospital, his bodyguard was bruised up and Papoose was bruised up. He also told media outlets that Fat Joe sat him down AFTER the beat down, Capo style, and told him why he got his @$$ beat and that they squashed it. Which Papoose does admit to. LOL, man. Now if you ask me...Papoose ain't hanging with Fat Joe, I mean look at the size of the kid. And the detail in which Joe spoke about the fight in leads me to believe that he telling the truth. He also said Cassidy and Gotti was there, and they'll let us know how it went down. Only time will tell.
Video: The Games Heads To PrisonMr. Lame, I mean Game turned himself into prison yesterday to begin serving his 60 day sentence for his weapons possession charge. Not gonna speak on this too much as yall know I think The Game is trying to publicize jail life and use this, for some odd reason, as promo for his new album. Dude didn't even want to fight the charge, don't make no sense. Peep the video here.

Rock-N-Roll God
Millions of fans.......and one man treated as a Rock God. Above are pictures of Led Zeppelin front man Robert Plant, who is every sense of the word "rock". From 1969 until 2008, he has sold millions and millions of records, and has recently been reborn to hard rocking after Zeppelins reunion concert back in December. Led Zeppelin sales have risen 50% and they haven't even made a new album in over 25 years. And don't forget, Plant is currently touring with Alison Krauss in their Raising Sand album produced by the great T Bone Burnett. If you like blues, rock music, or just a music fan period, buy a Zeppelin album or even one of Plant's solo albums. Robert Plant is a musical genius, he is a musical God. Anything he touches turns to gold, his Zeppelin work by far is a must have. Until another Tuesday, keep the week rocking . -Drew-
