Jay-Z's Blueprint Coming Soon...


Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 is coming out September 11th! Exactly 8 years from when he dropped the first Blueprint! And I have this crazy feeling it's gonna be hotter than Kingdom Come...

If this were a show, it'd have an all-star cast. It will include Kanye West (of course), Rihanna, Drake, Kid Cudi, Alicia Keys, Young Jeezy, Swizz Beatz & more... Kanye produced most of the album, so please believe production will be dope.

Rumor running around town is that Empire State of Mind was to include Nas, but for some reason, he was removed from the tracklisting and replaced by Alicia Keys... (Interesting...)

Jay-Z will perform at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards on September 13th. The next day, he's set to perform “Run This Town” on the debut episode of The Jay Leno Show.Check out the official track list:

I know y'all haven't heard from me in a min, so I'm hitting you up with some news for the week....

Omarion Left Cash Money!




For those who hadn't KNOWN that Omarion (formerly of B2K) had joined Cash Money (June '09), he has now LEFT Cash Money (that was short...). There were rumors that he was dropped but he says that it he wanted to leave for a new business oppurtunity he will anounce next week...

“I asked to be released from the label to pursue other opportunities that were recently presented to me,” he insisted. “Because of our relationship, Lil' Wayne had no issue with us ending our business relationship and released me from the label.”

Guess we'll see O's new venture soon....

While fashion has taken a trip back to the 80's and is moving slowly into the 90's - music has undergone it's own blast from the past with the revival of "The Mix tape" I think it's really cool...I recently took notice of it while following some independent DC artist that I love - mainly Muhsinah....and being amongst other singers from NY to Dallas in this new WAVE of "Space age" artistry (70's) I've found the Mix tape making it's way into the gospel in scene ;-) The Gospel kid...well...young lady now "KIKI" is releasing her new album 09/22/09 entilted Kiki's Mixtape. The Album is a collection of Kierra’s biggest songs. It will feature the debut single “You Don’t Know” and one of my favorites “Why Me”. In a nutshell it's ~ A “Bold Right Life” montage, a Christmas song, a new track produced by J. Drew Sheard, plus three unreleased tracks, and the unforgettable hits.
