Eminem's New Shoes

Hey everyone,

Eminem is celebrating his new book, "The Way I Am" and has now teamed up with Nike's Jordan Brand. The new limited edition shoe will be available exclusively on the official Jordan Brand "Fight Club" website starting December 18th at 7pm (eastern). Cool lil' thing about it, paying homage to his city of Detroit, only 313 pairs will be available for purchase.

The new Eminem "Retro 2" Jordan shoe are planned to sell for $110 and will come with limited-edition Air Jordan t-shirt. Also, a donation from the Jordan Brand will be made to Eminem's Marshall Mathers Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping disadvantaged youth.

That's all for today. But that's HOT! Propz to Em.

Music you probably haven't heard of: Jonnie & Brookie

The band is made up of well, self-explanatory, Jonnie & Brookie. They're sisters who love singing and making a difference. Jonnie, age 16, has the brown hair. Brookie, age 14, is blonde. They started singing when they were 3 and 5, and they absolutely love and appreciate their fans. They even have a mission statement:

Our Mission Statement:

We sing to Honor God.

to Make a Difference,

to be good role models

and we sing to have fun!

Visit http://jonnieandbrookie.com/ for everything.
You can comment them on myspace, which is where you can hear their music and read their blogs/ contests. What's special is how they care (hence their mission statement) and they have even written a few children's books.

"Every Day is Christmas" is their new holiday song. I love it! Listening to these girls are perfect for your younger siblings, nieces, nephews, or children.

They were a contestant for Radio Disney's NBT (Next Big THing). Voting for 2 weeks on Radiodisney.com. They will be performing at the end of December in Arizona, and next month, shows in Texas, California, & Wisconsin. Check their myspace for exact dates and locations.

R&N -- GOSPEL SUNDAY -- 12/07/2008

AND THE GRAMMY GOES TO...

What up world? It's almost that time again. That's right the Grammys are vastly approaching, scheduled to broadcast February 8 2009. The heavy hitters of gospel this year seem to be dead even with Grammy nods. CeCe Winans, Kirk Franklin, and Mary Mary all share 2 nods while Tye Tribbett has only one. That's right...ONLY one. We've GOT to do better. Anyway, take a look at the rest of the Gospel list below. For the entire list check it here.
