Da Brat gets 3 Years!
Da Brat was sentenced to 3 years in prison after beating a girl over the head with a rum bottle.
Brat argued with Shala Stevens, a waitress working at JD’s Club 72 in Atlanta.
Shala is an up and coming model, Atlanta Falcons cheerleader and actress. She suffered deep lacerations to her cheek and swelling to her forehead. Because of the incident, she had to give up her guest appearance the TBS show, House of Pain...
Da Brat needs to watch her temper. Beating folks up the side of the head with alcohol is gettin' out of line. Hopefully, her prison stay gets trimmed. I'm thinking she needs a life coach, for real...

Birthdays, Turkey &.. Lupus?
Joe Jonas (of the Jonas Brothers) had his 19th birthday last Friday. Happy birthday, Joseph! Kevin, Nick, & Joe took over Radio Disney for the celebration and answered questions from fans. Joe has also completed high school now. He graduated (from home-school) yesterday & how else? In front of thousands of screaming fans in Atlanta. How rock-star! Rock star with a 4.0. yeahh

Remember my review on Push Play earlier this summer? Well, I have cool updates from them. You'll definitely be seeing them in November.. for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in NY! So mark your calendars for Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008. They'll be playing on a float. And Push Play just signed on with Jason Morey, Miley Cyrus's manager! They're getting big! They're also coming out with a Christmas/Holiday album ... release in November. be watching for it. This Saturday, Push Play will be at Arthur Ashe Kids Day in Flushing, NY. details HERE.
Last, but definitely not least, I've also written about the gentlemen of Honor Society, who were on tv if you watched "Jonas Brothers: Live & Mobile" on MTV recently. Their "Under the Sun, Under the Stars" tour was an epic success. The next show is this Saturday, August 23, 2008. It's a benefit concert at Presbyterian Church in Islip, NY, raising money for Lupus research. So go out & support them & support the cause. It's only $10. There's another show in NJ on Aug. 27. info HERE. Honor Society is up for Artist of the Month on http://musiqtone.com/. Timbaland Preps Shock Value 2
Looks like Timbo is gettin' set for Shock Value 2, his forthcoming album. Rumor is he'll be doing the album with Rihanna, Beyonce, Madonna and even the Jonas... This will be one magnificent feat. I'm SO ready for this one. Timbo is gonna be getting some checks for this album as well as doing Jay-Z's next album entirely. Do your thing, man.
Chris Brown Getting Own Televised Dance Show?!
Wow. Chris Brown is trying to get into the Reality Talent Contest Shows as well. As if we haven't had enough "So You Think You Can Dance", America's Best Dance Crew, etc... Now Chris Breezy's trying to get his own. Mark Burnett of Reality TV and J.D. Roth will produce the show if they find a network that will take the show. This may get ratings just because he's doing it. Wonder what kind of spin he'll put on it... Whatchu guys think?

Master P Wants Better BET aka (BBTV)
The channel will have shows from health and fitness, animation, financial planning, reality TV, sitcoms, dramas, movies to responsible hip-hop music and videos, politics, sports and entertainment news, educational children’s shows as well as teen and family programming.
I guess this is for all the people who feel BET rot their brain cells... I can agree to some extent... Doin' good in the hood, P. Keep up the good work.
