All the observations he made about trade and the movement of goods in the 1980s might apply to these tough economic times. Jigga says he’s confident the United States can be a fair partner in trade and still hold down the world economy.

With the appointment of Nas to the Department of Education, President Obama hopes the “I know I Can” rapper will inspire the next generation of Americans. “He will bring a mix of inspiration and a zero-tolerance for failure,” says President Obama. In fact, if a principal’s school doesn’t make the grade, there will be no discussion. He or she will be immediately ethered.”

Secretary of the Treasury - 50 Cent

Rapper 50 Cent says he has turned 50 cents into hundreds of millions of dollars. “Look at that profit margin,” the rapper exclaimed. “And I pay my taxes!” Driving down the deficit and getting the economy moving again will be just as easy, President Obama says. Secretary of the Interior (Grill) - Paul Wall

President Obama says the papers have criticized him for not appointing a fair amount of his cabinet from the South. “All of that changes with my nomination of Paul Wall,” said the President. "Nobody understands the heartland like Paul Wall. In fact, he believes Wall’s appointment will turn Texas, the reddest of Red states, blue during the next election.

Secretary of State - Queen Latifah

"Who can fill the big shoes that Secretary Hillary Clinton is leaving," asked President Obama. Who has the toughness and grace to negotiate agreements with the hard-liners in North Korea and Iran?" President Obama said, “I’ve seen her sing jazz notes, and I’ve seen her “Bring Down the House,” and who can forget “Ladies First?” The people – and women - of the United States and all around the world are in good hands, he added.

Secretary of Homeland Security - Rick Ross

The President says he trusts rapper Rick Ross knows a lot about security. He has the ability to tap into his criminal justice past while distancing himself from it at the same time. “He’ll be unafraid of confronting enemies of the state,” said President Obama. “He’s the Boss, said the President. “This is Deeper than Rap.”

White House Press Secretary - Andre 3000

Andre 3000 is a master storyteller and communicator. T Pain Toothless? & Andre 3000 arrested

Singer and producer, T-Pain, got into a 'freak golf cart accident' resulting in the loss of 4 of his teeth. He ended up in the hospital with cuts and bruises on his face. He had to miss his appearances this weekend with Lil Wayne and Lil Kim. T-Pain will still be in Lil Kim's video for "Download" after he heals.


On Saturday, Rapper Andre 3000, was arrested for wreckless driving on the I-75. He was going 109 mph, 44 mph over the 65 mph speed limit. The police called him "an accident waiting to happen."

Welcome all my "I AM A FRIEND OF GOD SAInTS!!" You know what time it is....Ahhhh what a day to introduce to you this week's featured Album: Israel Houghton's new CD " The Power of One" Now OFF TOP let me say it is SO weird to be typing his last name instead of New Breed and with the way my mind works I'm thinking "O.K...so does this title serve as a double meaning for God and himself without the group? But I just happened to read an interview from CCN about the new album that cleared up so of the "Alert Mode" I was in. Allow me to share:

CCM: What prompted you to record a solo record now, especially considering the final product’s difference from a New Breed record is mere nuances?

Israel Houghton: What we’ve seen over the last nine years is growth of the vision around what New Breed is all about. New Breed was never meant to be my back-up group. It was always more of a gathering—an empowering and releasing kind of atmosphere. So late last year we did a live record. I’m not on it at all. Of course I paid for it. [Laughs] It was the proudest moment of my life to watch these guys I’ve been training and teaching and mentoring write, produce and put the songs together themselves.

That’s why I did the solo record. To show that space. There are a few things I want to go out and do and express. You’re right. They are pretty nuanced differences. But I wanted to show [Israel & New Breed] do things together; we do things separately, but we’re still one unit.

Released March 24th ~The new album is nothin short of the diverse sound that your'e used to from Israel...it features artist like ya gurlz Mary Mary, Toby Mac and Martin Smith. Did I mention that I love his ministry - I think with Israel's music, it was the first time I really truly realized that, hey "I am a friend of God...and WoW, for me, what a revelation, what intimacy, To KNOW that He's my Friend..that we're FRIENDS! lol" Theres a joy and a peace in that.
