Shyne - Out of Jail in April?
Great news... Looks like Shyne will be out of jail very soon... Shyne has done eight out of ten years on his bid for that club shooting in NYC about a decade ago... Back when Diddy and J. Lo used to be a hip-hop item.
His legal counsel, Oscar Michelin had this to say.
“He’s been an exemplary inmate... He’s had no problems, been very positive. As a matter of fact, myself and another person were scheduled to go up on the 26th of February to see him. There’s a dinner in honor of African-American History Month, and so Moses is participating in that. And he’s also coordinating, getting some speakers to talk about how things have affected the criminal justice system in the last few years and what we think the affect of the new presidency will be on issues affecting minorities. So he’s always been involved in many positive things at the jail and has never had a problem at all whatsoever. So, he’d be the perfect candidate for parole. The only knock against him was that he was convicted of a crime that’s considered a violent crime.”
Shyne, if you getting this in the pen, Music Forecast is rooting for you, bro.

R&N - 2/17/09 - Suge Knight still Living the Thug Life
Suge Knight was treated in the hospital for facial injuries after being injured in a fight at a local hotel, Scottsdale police said on Monday.
Apparenty, security at the W hotel in the city near Phoenix called police after two groups of guests exchanged "heated words in the VIP area" on Monday.
After the police arrived they saw Knight get punched in the head twice.
The police used taser guns to stop the fight and arrested two men, Robert Carnes and Leon Anderson. They were charged with disorderly conduct and aggravated assault.
Suge Knight was taken to the hospital where he was treated for facial injuries.
The Scottsdale hospital cited in the police report said it had no record of having treated him.
Knight was in the Phoenix area to attend the National Basketball Association All-Star game on Sunday night.

Chris Brown's Letter & More
Chris Brown released a statement, Sunday, one week after the alleged incident between him and girlfriend/singer Robyn Rihanna Fenty. The singer has kept quiet since last weekend, when he supposedly beat Rihanna. Brown had this to say:
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.” (tmz.com)
Clinton Brown, father of Chris Brown, says his son is at home in Va., feeling “very remorseful” for his actions. Over the weekend, Brown hired crisis specialists Alan Nierob and Howard Bragman. The team helped actor Isaiah Washington, from Grey’s Anatomy, after his incident with a fellow actor on the set of the ABC show.
Rihanna also returned home to her native Barbados, where her father, Ronald Fenty, released a statement saying his daughter is fine and recovering. He went on to say that he was surprised to hear that Chris was the attacker. “You think you know somebody, but you really don’t.”
Brown is expected back in L.A. for his court date on March 5th.

Journalists and industry professionals will be discussing the incident that night and what it means for both artists' careers and lives, and also what it means for society in general. Chris Brown's childhood with an abusive father will also be mentioned.
In addition, there will be a relationship expert to advice to offer teenagers who have experienced abuse from a parent or significant other.
