Chris Brown's Letter & More

Chris Brown released a statement, Sunday, one week after the alleged incident between him and girlfriend/singer Robyn Rihanna Fenty. The singer has kept quiet since last weekend, when he supposedly beat Rihanna. Brown had this to say:
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.” (

Clinton Brown, father of Chris Brown, says his son is at home in Va., feeling “very remorseful” for his actions. Over the weekend, Brown hired crisis specialists Alan Nierob and Howard Bragman. The team helped actor Isaiah Washington, from Grey’s Anatomy, after his incident with a fellow actor on the set of the ABC show.
Rihanna also returned home to her native Barbados, where her father, Ronald Fenty, released a statement saying his daughter is fine and recovering. He went on to say that he was surprised to hear that Chris was the attacker. “You think you know somebody, but you really don’t.”

Brown is expected back in L.A. for his court date on March 5th.
