Evening News
Gucci Goes To Jail
Ya favorite southern rapper who's been tearing up the radio with the likes of Trey Songz, Omarion, Mario & Usher went to jail today for violating parole. Gucci Mane has been sentenced to a year in prison, but MAY be let out in six months if he gets good behavior.
Gucci was supposed to drop his new album, The State Vs. Radric Davis on December 8th. He leaked “Worst Enemy" which is a song off the new album that addresses T.I. and Young Jeezy. No word yet on whehter the album date will change.

WHAT TO SAY ABOUT TREY.....

But he's slowly but surely doin it for me. Yup.
WAIT!!!! HOLD UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm gonna have to give this one my HOTT D@#% this is hott!!! I know most of my crits have been pretty positive but I truly am feelin this joint oh man! This joint I would have to say takes the Wonder Woman joint by Trey up above. I'm proud of this kid for this....
BUT...I could have done without the rap lick by....who was that again? It was unneccessary...truly. It made me come outta that comment really. I'm just sayin. But taking nothing away from this amazing kid... 5 outta 5 stars from me this eve'nent!lol
AND SINCE THIS TURNED INTO A COMPETITION.........
Third place would clearly go to Ne-Yo (sigh*)
I sigh not because of this God-awful mug shot, because this joint is actually hott....but that voice just doesn't do this justice. BIIIIGGGG ups to the producer. It sounds fiya-like really. But you guys would just have to hear this. I think you'll agree with me....if you have conscientious hearing....Did I spell that right? I'm just sayin...

Statement from Jive Records:
"It is with great sadness that Jive Records announces the passing of Chad "Pimp C" Butler, a member of the celebrated rap duo UGK (Underground Kingz). Jive Records' President and CEO Barry Weiss states: "We mourn the unexpected loss of Chad. He was truly a thoughtful and kind-hearted person. He will be remembered for his talent and profound influence as a pioneer in bringing southern rap to the forefront. He will be missed and our prayers remain with his family and Bun B. I've known Chad since he was 18, and we loved him dearly and he was a cherished member of the Jive family."
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, Butler's father was a trumpet player who played professionally with Solomon Burke. Outside of his father, the 33-year old rapper's influences varied, ranging from Bobby Bland, Jimmy McGriff, the 1960's Motown artists to Run DMC. Butler met his inseparable partner Bernard "Bun B" Freeman in high school where they formed UGK. In 1992, the duo signed to Jive Records and went on release a total of eight albums for the label. They earned their highest achievement earlier this year when their most recent album, UGK (Underground Kingz), debuted in the number one position on the album pop chart. According to the New York Times, UGK "helped inspire a generation of Southern hip-hop stars, from OutKast to Lil Wayne."
Bun B is not available for comment at this time."
Sad stuff to hear... The South will be mourning for a while on this one...

Trey got charged with "behaving as a disorderly person and resisting arrest." He got off on $500 bond... That's better than paying $3M like T.I.

Don't be hatin' on my boy, Joe Budden... This joint is kinda hot. Even if he got dropped from Def Jam... I'm sure he's gonna re-up on a new deal. Have you heard his "Mood Muzik" mixtapes?!

The nerve of this dude... Kenneth Anthony Wilson was charged on November 1st with 2nd degree criminal damage to property. A rope with a wooden cross attached to it was found wrapped around the Tupac statue that stands in the Center's Peace Garden in Atlanta. He is being held on a $1500 bond. What a sad day that people still participate in acts like this... Nuff said.

Anywayz, I don't know if you guys have heard about Tweet's new single, "Goodbye, My Dear" ft. TI. I don't listen to the radio often (does it surprise you?), but if you have, do you like the track?...

Bobby Brown - Heart Attack?!
Somebody asked why I didn't post up Bobby Brown and his trip to the hospital earlier... I asked them... "Is he relevant?"... What was his last hit? (besides on Whitney?, lol). I'm just playing... But seriously, i don't think y'all really wanted to hear about him... did ya? The dude couldn't even keep his story straight... Did he have a heart attack? Did he not? What's good?
