Concert this Weekend

There's this band called The Fixed Limit. They're local teenagers (from Texas), and they're made up of twins Erik & Carl Macias and their best friend Jeff Hoban. They classify themselves as Powerpop/Pop punk/Acoustic. Check them out at myspace.com/thefixedlimit and Twitter.com/thefixedlimit.

They're an opening act for The Hit! Sunday, October 4 at The Door in Plano. The show is $10 admission and doors open @ 5pm.

Kanye West: Again???

Is Kanye ever gonna learn?

Kanye West performed at the 'Common & Friends Benefit Concert,' a charity event this past weekend. Rumor has it that he got mad over some chicken!

"Why wasn't I offered chicken?" Kanye complained, according to several sources. "You want me to perform for free, [and] everyone is eating ... Why am I not eating?" When a waitress tried to explain that he hadn't asked for food, Kanye allegedly said, "Well, I'm asking now!"

Finally, when he received his meal, he allegedly took one bite, then threw the rest out, while the rest of the artists backstage looked on "in awe."

If this is true...all I have to say is Kanye, your fans can only take so much from you. Take a minute and WOOSAAHH!!

This Tuesday, Push Play (pop rock/electronica band from Long Island) released their second album, but their first one to be sold in stores nationwide.


This picture is from their album release in a New York Best Buy.
Buy the album at Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, or if you don't like CDs, iTunes. But I LOVE CDs. Having the physical music media in your hands is something special. :)

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of her singing, but I loved "Tell me Something I don't Know" from the "Another Cinderella Story" movie & Soundtrack. "Falling Down," which is on this album is kind of catchy, though. If you want to buy it, Walmart & Amazon has it and where CDs are sold.3

Rapper Fab Not Feeling So Fabolous?

Greetings World,
This is your boy Lyric! I was surfing the net and I came across a story that stated that Brooklyn rapper Fabolous was involved in a minor car accident in New York City on September 26, 2009 and was rushed to the hospital.

The rapper adamantly denied these reports via his Twitter page http://twitter.com/MyFabolouslife . He stated:

"I'm ok everyone..thanks 4 the concern. I was not in a car accident, but I think i know where it started.. Let me explain," the rapper Tweeted. "I was drivin yesterday morning & started feeling very sick & felt like I was gon pass out while driving.. I veered off 2 da side of the road."

The rapper stated that he was in so much pain that he pulled over to the side of the road and called for an ambulance to transport him to the hospital.

"I believed I was poisoned so I checked in & was given medical treatment..a lil sedated so I didn't tweet but was released 2 go late last nite," the rapper tweeted.

The rapper didn’t loose his sense of humor about the whole ordeal cause he later joked about it via a Twitter message.

Some of my favorite artists have covered their songs like….
