Nelly's Bodyguard Murder Investigation


A few days ago, Nelly's bodyguard, Michael Johnson was murdered. St. Louis county police responded to a home on Nola, near north Hanley Wednesday night just before midnight. Johnson was shot multiple times.

Police say he was either walking in or walking out of the home when someone opened fire. They're not sure if Johnson was targeted or if he interrupted a burglar who then shot him. Police say they are retracing the victim's steps from the previous 24 hours to try and find out where he was, and what a possible motive could be. No confirmed arrests have been reported. Last Thursday, Nelly was busy giving out scholarships at Lindenwood University. Condolences go out to Nelly and the Johnson family.

Man....This is REALLY gonna be the topic of the week!

Here is supposedly what TI's camp claims happened...

"The bodyguard asked TI for an advance on his [pay] and TI gave it to him .... Whatever he spent money on - whether it be guns, drugs, or formula for his children - TI had nothing to do with it." The insider continued, "The government was just looking to pin a case on TI - they've been trying for years. So they pushed [the bodyguard] into snitching on TI."

And the insider claims that the cache of weapons found in TI's home was not his either. The insider explains, "TI has security that live with him and stay with him at all times. The guns that the [federal agents] found belonged to his security team ... And by the way, [the members of his] security team are licensed to carry firearms."

Even crazier: The taping of the 2nd Annual BET Hip-Hop Awards includes Busta Rhymes and Alfamega performing "HURT" without T.I.! Wow! :-O
