Word on the street is that Jay Z certainly does NOT have love for 50 Cent. According to a source sitting near Jay during the AMA's, the rapper wouldn't even stand to cheer his fellow rappers on. “When 50 Cent and Eminem were performing, Jay Z didn’t stand up. And the guy next to him stood up, and Jay Z pulled the guy down. So the guy sat.”
So where does this beef come from? Aside from 50 basically saying the only reason Jay Z was known internationally was due to his wife, Beyonce, 50 recently dissed Jay in the lyrics to his song, claiming that Jay let all the money go to his head, and he’s forgotten that he’s a kid from Brooklyn. 50 Cent (as usual) seems to be welcoming the beef between himself and Jay Z.
Jay Z doesn’t seem to be nervous, however. In an interview with the BBC, he said, “No one’s scared of 50 Cent. I want to be clear, no one is scared of 50 Cent.” You tell 'em Jay!
