Chris Brown's manager, Tina Davis, 39, is reportedly the woman whose text message to the Chris Brown triggered the alleged altercation between him and girlfriend Rihanna, according to TMZ.
In a police statement, Rihanna told officers she found a three-page text message on Brown's phone from a woman he was involved with in the past, who is now believed to be Davis. Brown allegedly became very angry at Rihanna after she read the message and allegedly tried to kick her out of his car and pushed her face against the window. He also reportedly punched her threatened her and even started biting her.
Ahem...I've also heard in Chris Brown's defense...he started hitting her because she tried to attack him with a stiletto... (Hey Chris, ever heard of taking the stiletto out of her hand instead of beating her to a pulp?)
Any who, a source identified Tina Davis as the one who sent Brown the late-night text message the night before the Grammy Awards. Davis has been Brown's manager since the beginning of his career. There was speculation in the past that Davis and Brown were getting cozy, but it was never proven. The police report stated that the text came "from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with." Hmm......
Tony Knight, a representative for Brown, had no comment.
Brown recently appeared in court, but he didn't enter a plea on the two felony charges. However through all of this, they are reported "back together". Chris Brown is due back in court April 6 to be arraigned on two felony counts of assault and making criminal threats.
