Free Lil Boosie and Lil Wayne








In New Orleans, Police arrested 6 men on November 30th while the protested to free Lil Boosie (now incarcerated) and contest Lil Wayne's one year sentence.




Off duty officers stated they witnessed the men spray painting 'Free Lil Wayne' on the side of a building and placing a banner on another street demanding authorities free the two rappers. The men also used police barricades and garbage cans to block off traffic during the protest. The men fled when police arrived but were quickly appreheneded and charged with disturbing the peace, resisting arrest by flight, and criminal damage to property.




Lil Boosie was sentenced to four years in prison for violating his parole after being caught with a gun and marijuana in October 2008. Lil Wayne is slated to be sentenced to one year in prison on December 15th. He was sentenced after a loaded revolver was found on his tour bus.
