AND THE REIGN BEGINS....

In huge recent week for gospel music, Tye Tribbett & G.A.'s latest release Stand Out takes the coveted top spot on Billboard's Top Gospel Charts. The album is also #1 on Billboard's Top Christian & Gospel Albums charts and #16 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums charts, marking gospel's best debut charting performance for the 2008 release year. I heard him say " Ya Mamma" Kirk. lol
I'm playin. Thats how mess gets started. But back to the facts.


Marvin Sapp's Thirsty takes the week's #2 position, followed by WOW Gospel 2008 at #3. CeCe Winans' LP Thy Kingdom Come takes the #4 spot, while The Fight of My Life from Kirk Franklin rounds out the week’s top 5.In the world of radio, Marvin Sapp's Never Would Have Made It spends its 33rd week at the top of the charts. The Clark Sisters' Livin' maintains the #2 position, while Clark Sister member Dorinda Clark-Cole takes the #3 position with "Take It Back". Troy Sneed and the Bonafide Praisers sit at #4 with Work It Out, while The Light from Ricky Dillard and New G close out the top five positions.
