Great news for the Gospel Community today. The Gospel Music Channel got a big win with the announcement of its expansion to DIRECTV. The popular music channel, whose subscriber base is nearing 40 million subscribers, begins airing on Direct TV’s channel 338 on March 19, 2008.
On the heels of his wildly successful release Kingdom Business, Canton Jones has been added to the lineup of the Hope Nation Tour. Sponsored by the Gospel Music Channel, World Vision, and the Ellis Verne Agency, the tour will feature DeWayne Woods, Coko, Jonathan Nelson, Myron Butler and Levi, Tarsha McMillian Hamilton, and Ted Winn. The mega-tour kicks off March 24 and runs through May 18, 2008
Dr. Bobby Jones announced that he will be starting a new TV show, to be called Bobby Jones Next Generation, focusing on new artists and urban presentations. The show is set to debut in March, 2008 on the Gospel Music Channel. Jones made the announcement during the 23rd Annual Stellar Award weekend in Nashville.
