The rumor that Game would rejoin G-Unit is officially dead. 50, of course didn't agree to Game's apparent terms of getting half of 50's Vitamin Water deal, as well as putting Lloyd Banks on Black Wall Street... LOL. Like that would ever happen, heheh. So, no chance they'll be back together.

Jay-Z - Leaving For Columbia?!
Jay-Z might be leaving his President position at Def Jam, in order to join Def Jam co-founder Rick Rubin at Columbia.
People ask, "Why would Jay-Z leave Def Jam if he's the President?"
One of the reasons might be because Jermaine Dupri is now running a Def Jam subdivision, Island Records Urban Music Group.
Another reason, Beyonce is signed to Columbia Records.
According to The New York Daily News, Jay-Z will also be leaving Island Def Jam owning his entire catalog.
Recently, there was also a rumor that Jay-Z and Beyonce were in negotiations with Apple's iTunes to create a digital record label. Well see about that as time progresses.

Speaking of Beyonce, there is footage online (Youtube, among other places) that shows Beyonce falling down a couple steps on stage with a wild weave on. Her label claims that the hem of her coat got caught in her shoe.

Chamillionaire - Road To Ultimate Victory

Chamillionaire is getting ready for his upcoming profanity-free album, Ultimate Victory. He is brushing off 50 remarks about him, though.
"Let him [Chamillionaire] go sell gospel records, if he's so f***in' righteous..." "I can write around the curses if I want to, but you can't tell me to write around the curses."
"There are way more interesting things to talk about, besides, beef and dissing people." "I'ma leave that to everybody else. There was a time were the Hip-Hop battle was cool, cause it was lyrical or whatever, but now, its stale, people used it as a gimmick."
Instead, Chamillionaire will use his album to express his opinions on a number of subject's, including Kobe Bryant, OJ, President Bush and Hurricane Katrina. He just shot a video for it. Watch out for it. Chamillionaire's hopes Ultimate Victory is due in stores September 18.
Quick Tidbit: Don't forget that Sean Kingston's album comes out next Tuesday! I have high hopes for it. :-D

According to New York's Daily News, Suge and Kevin Connolly, aka E from Entourage, were play fighting during Lebron James' ESPY Awards after party. Suge reportedly bit E's finger!
"Kevin and Suge were wrestling and Suge literally bit Kevin's finger," a witness told NY's Daily News. "He was bleeding everywhere...Kevin didn't seem too upset," the witness added, "although he must have been in tons of pain."

Talk about coincidence...
Lil' Wayne and Ja Rule were arrested July 23rd in NY in two separate incidents.
Ja Rule was stopped around 10:30 pm in Manhattan for speeding on West End Avenue.
Police searched the vehicle, they found a .40 caliber hand gun.
An hour later, Lil' Wayne was searched after police saw him and another associate smoking marijuana by a tour bus near 61st Street and Columbus Avenue. The arrest occurred shortly after Lil' Wayne's performance at the Beacon Theater.
Both rappers were charged with criminal possession of a weapon and marijuana.
P.S. - Coincidently, look out for their upcoming track, "Uh-Oh" on Ja's album, The Mirror.

Somebody doin' good in the hood! David Banner provided a bus, food, t-shirts and 80 tickets to Six Flags! It's all for the children's program he has been sponsoring since 2005 in Mississippi.
Russell Simmons - Vick Got Hit!
Russell Simmons and Al Sharpton sent a joint letter condemning dog-fighting to Michael Vick’s corporate sponsors which includes Nike, Rawlings, Hasbro, Coca-Cola, Easton Sports, and Kraft. After the news, Nike announced that it was suspending the release of th eNike Air Zoom Vick V football shoe. It was scheduled for a late August release.

50 Cent filed a lawsuit against an internet advertising firm, seeking at least $1 million dollars in damages over a "Shoot The Rapper" ad that appeared on various Internet sites, primarily on Myspace.

Look out for a controversial episode of Making the Band 4. It will feature the incident between Sean "Diddy" Combs and choreographer, Laurie Ann Gibson. During the April 25 taping for the show, Combs, Gibson and Michael Bivens were involved in a heated argument.
Gibson filed a complaint with NYC police in May, claiming Bivens grabbed her during the argument, while Combs threatened her with a chair. Also during the episode, two more guys leave thecast, 1 dude walks out and a favorite on the show gets kicked out as well. The episode airs July 23 on MTV.
