Survey Says...

Check out these survey results...

The Commission's Division of Violence Prevention in Boston, surveyed 200 Boston youth ages 12 to 19, between Feb. 13 and 20, using the Chris Brown-Rihanna case to gauge their attitudes toward teen dating violence; 100 percent of those surveyed had heard about the incident. Among the findings:

71% said arguing was a normal part of a relationship

44% said fighting was a normal part of a relationship

51% said Chris Brown was responsible for the incident

46% said Rihanna was responsible for the incident

52% said both individuals were to blame for the incident, despite knowing at the time that Rihanna had been beaten badly enough to require hospital treatment

35% said the media were treating Rihanna unfairly

52% said the media were treating Chris Brown unfairly

Interesting numbers... What do y'all think of that?

KERI DOES THE STICK AND MOVE

What up world?! If you haven't heard already, Ms Keri (babe-beh) Keri Hilson has releashed a rather peculiar remix to "Turnin Me On". It features Grammy award winners T-Pain and Lil Wayne and is straight fire. Allegedly, it seems that Keri is taking a jab at 2 key ladies in the industry that will go nameless...but Ciara and Beyonce aren't too happy about it.lol I'm jus sayin. You be the judge as the story continues...

SO...after all the aftermath, Ciara does an interview at a local ATL radio station and is later joined by Ms. Hilson herself. This should be interesting right???? Check it out.

Yeah, so Keri definitely dodged THAT bullet of controversy amongst the industries leading ladies. But with that momentuum CONTINUALLY keeps leaking tracks left and right. One in particular with Kanye West called "Making Love". It's actually pretty hott...but Kanye...as a love interest? Just wasn't expectin it....jus sayin.

Lastly, J. Sully supposedly has a new vid out but....not really? Director Matthew Cherry's adaptation of the song brings new light to the beautiful lyrics of "I'm in Love With Another Man" by Jazmine Sullivan. Really likes the vid. It intensives the song and vice versa. Personally love black and white media period. Check it out.

Chris Brown & Rihanna Duet!


As we continue on with the Chris Brown/Rihanna saga, Polow Da Don has come out and spoke to Dr. Phil on his show about the couple's duet. According to the LA Post, Polow says "my heart goes out to both Chris Brown and Rihanna regarding what happened in the past. I enjoyed working with both of them." The duet will be making Chris Brown's upcoming album.


Manager Denies Relationship
Next off, Chris's manager has denied her relationship with him, and so does her father. (Will it stick?)

Update:

Tina Davis issued the following statement through her lawyer, Marshall B. Grossman:

“The relationship between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown is that of manager and client. There has never been any other relationship. The rumors in circulation are false. There are no emails between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown of the type which have been described in media reports.

If the source of the false rumors is identified, legal action will be taken. Given the nature of the legal issues affecting Mr. Brown, Ms. Davis will not be making any further statements.”
(Isn't there a difference between e-mails and text messages?")

CB Withdraws from Kids Choice Awards
Despite Nickelodeon having a firm foot on not pulling Chris out of the polls due to kids who have already voted, CB has pulled himself from the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, and released a statement. (That was an admirable move.)


Rihanna Out & About
Then, Riri was out at a club two nights ago celebrating her belated 21. No sign of Chris at this function.


Mystery Court Hearing
Sources has reported that Chris's lawyers are requesting a "mystery" court hearing on March 23rd to discuss Rihanna testifying. Robin Givens also said that Riri's story is her story. (hmm...)


CB Falls Off the Billboard!
To top it all off, CB's music has completely dropped out of the Billboard 100!

Chris Brown/Rihanna Saga Continues...

Hey folks,

So I'm a give a quick synopsis of the past week for this situation...



Diddy lends out to the young couple and lets them stay at his Miami pad. Upset and trying to make up for the incident, Chris goes to a jeweler's and cops a $50,000 ring for Rihanna. This is supposedly the "engagement ring" that everyone is talking about... Proposal has not been confirmed.

Oprah is speaking out on the situation also steps in and is dedicating her show to domestic violence tomorrow in lieu of the situation.



On top of Chris having to go to court last week (next court date April 6th), it seems that the alleged "text messages" had come from... his manager, Tina Davis (seen on left)... They have supposedly been having a relationship since he was 16 years old!... It gets worse.... She's about... 40. In my eyes... 36 + 16 = statutory rape and jail time if true. What do ya'll think?

R&N - 03/10/09 - Chris Brown's Manager was Cause of Fight???

Chris Brown's manager, Tina Davis, 39, is reportedly the woman whose text message to the Chris Brown triggered the alleged altercation between him and girlfriend Rihanna, according to TMZ.

In a police statement, Rihanna told officers she found a three-page text message on Brown's phone from a woman he was involved with in the past, who is now believed to be Davis. Brown allegedly became very angry at Rihanna after she read the message and allegedly tried to kick her out of his car and pushed her face against the window. He also reportedly punched her threatened her and even started biting her.

Ahem...I've also heard in Chris Brown's defense...he started hitting her because she tried to attack him with a stiletto... (Hey Chris, ever heard of taking the stiletto out of her hand instead of beating her to a pulp?)

Any who, a source identified Tina Davis as the one who sent Brown the late-night text message the night before the Grammy Awards. Davis has been Brown's manager since the beginning of his career. There was speculation in the past that Davis and Brown were getting cozy, but it was never proven. The police report stated that the text came "from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with." Hmm......

Tony Knight, a representative for Brown, had no comment.

Brown recently appeared in court, but he didn't enter a plea on the two felony charges. However through all of this, they are reported "back together". Chris Brown is due back in court April 6 to be arraigned on two felony counts of assault and making criminal threats.

D-Town's Finest Gospel Crooner ~ MR. Ryan Leslie - I mean Ryan Brockington, lol!
Now some of you may be wondering, "Who is Ryan Brockington?" Give it time, and the world will come to know and love the musical workings of this young vessel. Ryan is a Psalmist/songwriter who was born and raised in Denton, Texas and still resides within the DFW Metroplex. Shaping his craft since he was 10 Ryan has been able to learn from seasoned musicians who are stationed in and around the DFW area. He is a former member of the awesome gospel group, Titus Glenn and United Voices, which recorded "After the Heart of You" the groups freshmen album. While with Titus Glenn and United Voices he was blessed to minister with the likes of Stellar and Grammy Award Winner's Myron Butler and Levi, Tamela Mann, George Huff and many others. Mr. Brockington was also privileged to be apart of one of the most highly anticipated events to ever hit the Dallas metro plex ,Dr.juanita Bynum’s "gospel goes classical" which featured the Dallas symphony orchestra as well as Myron Williams.Personally Mr. Brockington has shared the stage with Tim Clifton W/ Purpose, Dana Hemphill, Eric Bridine and The Messengers among many others. Most recently in Summer of 2008 Ryan was privileged to work with Gospel great Tommye Young-West on her newest offering “Created to Worship.” Mr Brockington’s poignant background vocals can be noted on tracks like Created to Worship, Deliverance and Why Did He Do It, among various others. Ryan has his hands in several projects right now , at the focus of which is the expansion of his own personal ministry. Look for some new music from Ryan Brockington in the upcoming year of 2009. This young man truly has something to say. .. Whoa COME on SOMBodIE!!!
