R&N - 04-05-08 - ONSMASH SATURDAY PT. 3

This is a hot track, it has a 70s Funk to it. I'm interested to see what Ne-Yo has in store for his new album since I wasn't really feelin his last one.

BUN B ft. Sugar Tounge Slim - THE SOUTH

Bun B comes hard on the track with his signature flow, and the beat is sick. The Jodeci sample is clean. However, I have a problem with Sugar claiming that he is the baddest pimp since Pimp C. Come on man... then you have the nerve to come through with a verse that sounds like the Pimp wrote it. That pi$$es me off just a little bit.

USHER - MOVIN MOUNTAINS

Usher is trying to make his comeback, but he has an up hill battle.....no pun intended, i'm serious. It's a good track, but guys like Trey Songs, Mario, and Ne-Yo have been killing the R&B game in Mr. Raymond's absence. I'm not counting Usher out, but he needs to put out something stronger than what I have heard so far.

THE COOL KIDS - FLOSSIN

The Cool Kids are a breath of fresh air for Hip-Hop. I'm just glad to hear that there are rappers out in the game that just do it to have fun and not as a side business to their main job in the drug game which most rappers want to portray. Don't get me wrong these "Kids" are very good on the mic. It has an old school feel to it, and will keep your head nodding.

JOHNTA AUSTIN - SAY SO
This guy knows how to craft a hit. He has done it for plenty of other singers and it sounds just a good when he does it himself. Definitely Check This Out!!

And there you have it, more hits brought to you by Music Forecast. Make sure you put us as your home page, because all of your Internet needs are right here.

God Bless The Stones

The Rolling Stones that is. Hey Guys and Girls, welcome to some Saturday news and some Rock-N-Roll must haves! Not only is the soundtrack amazing, but if your a Stones fan, you have got to see Shine A Light. This is a documentary directed by the great Martin Scorsese, and is absolutely brilliant. Hey Stones fan or not, it's a pretty awesome film, and one hell of a live show to see on the big screen! Movie includes acts from the Stones "Bigger Bang" tour in 2006.

Rock Charts

What's hot??? The Bravery "Believe" album is hot, Seether's "Rise Above This" is hard rocking, and Puddle of Mudd's "Psycho" album is just flat out great. All of these are holding the top 5 spots for rock albums, and are must haves.

Shooter Jennings News

Son of the great Waylon Jennings will open a series of Charlie Daniel's concerts starting April 11-12 in Harris, Mich. This will be big, this will huge, it's going to be one hell of a show. Hey and if that isn't enough for you crazy fans out there, .38 Special will be featured as the tour goes on through August.

04/02/08 - Hump Day EXCLUSIVES

EXCLUSIVE: Kanye's New Video For HomecomingKanye has just wrapped and dropped his video for Homecoming. The video is just amazing as the track. I swear this dude got the best videos. At least on this album he does. I can't say no more, watch it there. MF 3.0 got ya.

Ludacris Wants Us To Stay TogetherLudacris dropped this track just for the hell for it and reminds us what he should always be mentioned when talking about who's one of the nicest rappers out right the track. The track is humorous, and basically just addresses the numerous breakups in the hip-hop community and in the world today. I like the track 'cause the stuff he say on here, I've been saying it. Peep it here and you'll see what I mean. Either way, didn't somebody say Hip Hop Is Dead?

Bun B Tells Us What's Gangsta

Bun B just recently dropped his first single for his newest solo album, II Trill. He's waiting on Sean Kingston to come from Europe and then he says they'll shot the video for the single. The track, "That's Gangsta," is hot, and has Bun B rapping' about what is, and isn't gangsta. But what sticks out when I listen to the track is what I feel is definitely not gangsta...Sean Kingston! Prob shoulda got sumbody else to do the hook, but JR Rotem, Kingston's mentor did the beat so there you go. Anyway peep the track here, and you'll see what I mean.

updated: posted on MF3 earlier in Feb as well

Ne-Yo's First Single Off New Album: LeakedNe-Yo released, or someone has released the first single off off Ne-Yo's new album dropping in the summer titled, "The Year of the Gentleman." The track is called "Closer" and is inspired by Euro-Pop or Funky House after a recent trip to Europe by Ne-Yo. Funky House as I call it is the latest music craze out there in Europe, particularly the UK, and is a form of Electronica music that is similar to UK Garage. The genre uses a 4-to the-floor drum pattern and blends funky melodies and vocals. The sounds is quite reminiscent of radio these days, ala, the whole Timbaland, Timberlake, Flo-Rida, uptempo sound thats being going on lately. Anyway, Ne-Yo was inspired by all that, put his touch on it, and created his latest single. Peep it here on MF 3.0 and tell me if its poppin or not.

Shawty Lo's Done It AllShawty Lo trying to make some noise for his debut album with his second single, "Dun Dun". The track is hot, but it's definately not going to help him save his album from flop status. But hey, if he hook it up w/ a remix like he did with They Know, then well, you never know. Peep it here.
Shawty Lo - Dun Dun

ALSO,
in case yall didn't hear...Jay-Z & Beyonce suppose to be getting married REAL soon. They just got out a marriage license and its valid for 60 day, so two months to do the do...yeah I don't care much either, it's like they been married right.

I'm Out

For those who check out RockNRoll Tuesdays, it will be posted on Saturday. Drew has been busy but, this weekend should be pretty good...

Until then, check out this song I heard yesterday... It might be old to some of y'all, but it was new to me... It's pretty catchy if you're into that genre.

RAVE REVIEWS...A BAD THING??!?!?

What up up all?!?!?! I hope all got a good word a church this morning. I know I did. Big shout out to the brothas and sistas of IBOC and Pastor Ricky Rush.

It's a slow day today. However, past and present reviews of Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns is continually giving people something to talk about. Of course we alllll wanna support Tyler, and I'm not even gonna lie, haven't even seen this flick yet...but I've only been hearing poor reviews on this one guys. I'm just sayin. It was gonna be challenge to top Why Did I Get Married. If you haven't seen THAT one...your life is lacking. However, I must say that I feel tons of sarcasm in this review clip from TITANTV.COM Check it out and see what I mean.

On the music tip, Brandy was featured on the soundtrack!!! It looks like it would be....aight?!?!?lol I'm just so confused about the entire project....but I guess. Just sayin. Check out the track.
